Please let us exit a MSQ cutscene without skipping it

It kind of sucks that people make you feel like you have to skip them. Although usually nobody says anything. The fact that everybody is rushing makes you feel like you don't have a lot of choice. Although you can watch them in your room. Its not the same as watching them when they are actually happening.

OP is referring to quest cutscenes, not in-dungeon. Y'know. Queue up a duty and run some quests while you wait.

At least those cutscenes that are triggered by talking to an NPC or interacting with a location, if you enter a duty while watching, you will be placed back to the moment before you started the cutscene, when you return. The quest objective won't mark as complete until the cutscene is either skipped or completely watched. Not sure what happens if it's one of those cutscenes that are triggered by merely walking to a location, but those are a rarity.

Major complication here is when entering those cutscenes on a different job than what you queued for. Can't enter duty until you've changed jobs. Can't change jobs until you're out of cutscene.

I realize that . But my comment was a nitpik on the fact that in dungeons you feel the need to skip cutscenes. Sorry for straying from the original subject.
