Also I think the model is shirtless because they probably haven't finished the undershirt design yet. The characters are designed in layers I think, so undershirts would go over the body instead of being part of the model itself.

Or perhaps they have female designers and the girls are just having fun.

Anyways, I was thinking about changing races and this settles that. Looks cool, perhaps I'll fill the void of playing a fantasy race that the Elezen did not fill (the male models are just creepy, females are hot).

agreed. probably because of new producer yoshida. he looks like a cat man but without cat ears. This picture even has same haircut as him. he probably made miqote in his own image and had to give them all the badass battle stances. ths was his Plan all long. he most likely worked behind the shadows pre-release an influenced the poople who designed male elfs to give them all the feminine traits, and now his cunning plan has succeded by usurping tanaka.

I kind of expected the gay comments from insecure men to spring up after I seen it lol, I just kinda sat back and enjoyed with my popcorn and bottle of canada dry. I honestly didn't think some people could make an even bigger ass of themselves than they already have been..I got proven wrong xD

I bet the second a popular straight entertainer starts sporting pink, it'll no longer be considered "gay" since deny it all you want..it's exactly how media works lol. I was honestly expecting them to redo Lehko's model from XI..though there are a bit if simularties, he looks like a normal character model, not too "HULK SMASH" that seems to be linked with being a man in MMOs as late and not too "WHY IS THIS SWORD SO HEAVY?" undertoned men.
