Who cares if it is (I didn't notice)? The soundtrack for that zone is freaking sweet.

I won't be coming back to FFXIV's forums. The forum vibe is way too venomous and brings out the worst in me. I don't like who I am on the forums, so it's best to distance myself.
Same, and i found all areas beautiful thus far.
I am far more concerned that we still have queues to get in of like 1100 players and a half hr or so wait, lol
I honestly think it’s a worthwhile sacrifice if it lets them create a large and well detailed / interesting area. The only thing I didn’t like about the zone was that when you’re flying there’s sometimes a lot of obstacles in the way lol (e.g giant branches), but it’s really not that big a deal
Well... maybe it's because the slums might be getting a face lift through the patches? So they didn't try too hard to make them unique. Like Revenant's Toll and Idyllshire.
Are you pleased to write a comment void of an actual argument with the clear implication that you think the world revolves around you, and only you?
I honestly haven't noticed any copy/paste shenanigans. So if they did... they did a good job of hiding it.
Copy-pasting is inevitable, I think. At least to some extent—provided that the developers want to spend time on everything else they put into this expansion to make it just as amazing as the new ares, its bound to happen. Certainly not something to get overly upset about—and I seriously doubt its on par with 1.0 copy pasting.
I never noticed much copy-pasting in the areas myself. I’m honestly too busy being awed by how beautiful they are—especially under the Everlasting Light weather.

I did notice the temple stairs in the greatwood were copypasted when I had to climb 4 sets of them for the MSQ but that didn't bother me at all. Areas overall just look too good for me to care.
Reusing assets is normal
What wasn't normal in 1.0 is that they'd go overboard. People would get so disoriented trying to find their way through each zone because none had any discernable landmarkes and you quite literally passed the same ridge/tree/boulder/etc... every 30 seconds.
The black shroud was the worst offender because it was an actual labyrinth of seeing the same trees over and over again.
