I'm pointing out that people are attacking him based on ignorance.

I often see people saying that someone is bashing or attacking something simply because the person disagrees. Based on what I've seen of his videos in the past, I'm highly skeptical of the accusations being thrown at him.

Blind hatred is just as bad. Good thing I'm not a fanboy.


Maybe you should stop throwing accusations. I have disagreed with him on numerous things. I don't accuse him of bashing because I disagree. You clearly do, though.

I'm not attacking him based on ignorance. I seen a lot of his video's, I do like his content, however. I know bashing when I see it, which he does a lot to games he doesn't like.

Like I said, I seen his video's and I still watch them because they're quite entertaining; however, I'm not going to defend any of his bad reviews or video's just because I like his content.(or any of his stuff)

But there is nothing more to really say to you.

Just look at the amount of dislikes on the video about a 2k difference and it keeps going down.

I dont trust jornalist or mmo rewiers, i trust players who play the game they love. Also its not cool ask if i should buy a game to someone...if i like, if whant, i go there and buy and feel by my own experience.

There were games that many of my friends who played before me said the game was bad and i try by my own and had diferent opinion. It happens with movies too

His opinion is obviously what most new players run into. But the fact that he didn't seem to participate in any relevant content before finalizing his video is pretty questionable. The snide comments about msq skip are also unwarranted since they just released those for Stormblood. In many ways he is indeed "ignorant" of the full scope of the game and it's evolution since it was released. Doesn't mean he himself is ignorant, but by definition it's certainly a lack of understanding.

In fairness, to play in relevant content you need to slog through hundreds of hours of useless content.

As a new player, that would certainly be very off-putting about the game.

The purpose of a review of current media is to provide consumer protection. If you distrust all negative reviews, you no longer have that protection.
Good on you to form your own opinions, but that can be a very expensive and disappointing hobby.
