Hrothgar aesthetic concern.

So, I've race changed to the Hrothgar. I'm actually quite fond of it already. However I do have a concern.

If new face/hair styles are added are we going to have to pay our hard earned real life coin, to even access them? Because at the moment, using the crystal bell the only option a Hroth has, is to change fur pattern and colour. I understand due to time constraints adding new options hasn't been viable. But every other race has the option to change their style with in game currency.

Will this option be added to Hrothgar's aesthetic options in the future with new styles released? Because as it stands that's very unfair on the minority that have chosen to play as a Hroth.

I was thinking the same thing, also will it be new hairstyles for existing faces or just brand new faces in general? I really like the face my hrothgar has atm.

It's more worrying they chose to tie them to faces to begin with, as you have to fantasia to change your face.

I'm hoping they rectify this in a future patch. But an official confirmation would be nice.

I get that they were going for something completely different in terms of hair because they are a more beastly race, but why couldn't they have done what they have with the Viera? They have their own race-exclusive hairstyles but it's not like they're locked to face (I know they stated that they would work on giving Viera the legacy styles but that's besides the point). It would be nice if we could mix and match hair and face.
It isn't fair that you have to use a fantasia if you want to change your Hrothgar's hair, especially when options are so limited already.

It's pitiful that SE decided to lock the hairstyles and not the fur patterns to faces, ESPECIALLY since there's only 5 patterns to begin with, and I somehow doubt they'll make more. What's the point of having a bestial race with "customization" if you lock the #1 customizable feature? At least half of these fur patterns aren't going to ever be seen outside of nakedness at character creation. Yet the feature with the widest range of style (hairs) is locked to a grand total of 8, with two tied to each of 4 faces. SE NEEDS to have something either said before 5.1 or done in 5.1 regarding this extremely limited option.

I took a look at character creation. Hrothgar definitely need more facial/hair options. I am just hoping once 5.1 comes out that is what is coming.

Is it perhaps to do with how the game handles the data for setting the colours of the fur pattern? That information would be used in combination with what is usually the hairstyle data, here used for fur patterns, so perhaps it needs to be there to control the two colours.

It does seem odd that they haven't added more patterns, having gone this route.

Even with the limitations I have yet to see two Hrothgar that look the same. People are doing great jobs with customizing them

I was hoping that the Aesthetician would allow Hrothgar to customize other features such as fang length or something.

Also, after checking, it looks like Hrothgar can change 8 things in the aesthetician, while the other races can change 9 things.

As cool as the hrothgar are, it just reminds me of teh Au Ra debacle.... Face x horns....i love certain horns but hate certain faces and wish I coudl pick x horns with x faces... But yeah that never changed so now 2 awesome races I'd love to try are jsut out the window
