It's the open world battle music xD. I had to turn off the battle BGM lol.

The only bad things I can think of about SHB are...
1. Extreme game simplification
2. Removal of class synergy mostly
3. DX11 errors and crashes for a lot of people, check technical support for evidence, it's almost 30 pages now. I'm one of those affected by it. No sort of advice helps.
4. FPS limitation to 90 in 2019. I mean, really? People that use laptops with forced 144hz that don't know how to change it legit cannot play the game they paid for.
5. The mac 64 client is a mess, graphical glitches, slanted screen, literally. The entire game is slanted, there's pictures of this on the bug report part of the forum
This is just off the top of my head. I can probably find quite a few more things wrong if I think about it.
Strange. I actually love the new BGM.
Along with some of Crystal Raven's points above, my main gripe so far is the level gating. Not that I shouldn't be used to it, but I feel more ShB is way more aggressive with it than HW and SB were. Almost kills my drive to play especially when things start to get good.
soooo many fetch quests.
While it's a bit of an exaggeration, some Jobs, imo, aren't as fun as they used to be due to them simplifying it. Bard is a good example, and it doesn't help that a lot of it's supportive roles have been removed so I just feel like a ranger that just sings to myself during battle.
My main gripe is that I was inches from finishing my relic weapon in Eureka and it's basically impossible now. Crystals drop only from FATEs in any significant quantity, and there is literally nobody else in the instance when I go in.
I'm gonna wait till I actually hit 80 to judge. I'm mostly annoyed my muscle memory is making me hit buttons that do nothing now or messing up my combos because now instead of 2 separate ones I have a branching tree... but that'll pass. While it's a bit of an exaggeration, some Jobs, imo, aren't as fun as they used to be due to them simplifying it. to the OP: I actually turned music back on and left it on BECAUSE of the new battle music. It's so metal I love it!
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
I'm having this, but it's with the AST cards. Play is where spread used to be on my hotbar, so when I draw a good card, my muscle memory instantly clicks the button for what used to be spread and I play the card...wasting it...
