My fave is still sometimes spamming heals on a dying tank only to realize I forgot to make sure the tank was my target...

omg this has happened to me more than once and will likely happen again... I'm sure whomever the random DPS it was at the time getting those heals was happy??? So silver linings? lmao

I cannot for the life of me consistently play melee DPS. Tanking is just fine, but a lot of the rotations just aren't my speed.

Let's see, well I remember it took me months to figure out how to zoom the camera out on PS4. For a while, I just thought the default camera was normal. I went through the entirety of the through to the end of 4.1 like that, even doing Susano/Lakshmi EX and O1S with the camera that zoomed in... It took me a long time to understand how a lot of simple things work, admittedly. I also recall going through the HW story as RDM, when you have to fight Titan one of the several times the story makes you do so, and I slipped off the edge of the platform while landing after a Displacement. Which... is really something I should have known better than to try.

I did a similar thing on a (now deleted) character when I was a SMN. I liked the gathering jerkins around level 30 so I wore one of those for a while instead of what I was supposed to be wearing because I never liked the robes that casters wear. I figured if I was allowed to wear them then there wasn't a problem. Not sure how long it lasted. I definitely remember glamouring it on over WHM stuff I wore at 50 because glamours were finally added around that time.

When I first started in ARR I was leveling DRG. At some point I was messing with the chat settings. From a certain point on (from the mid 20s I think to about lvl 45) no one was communicating through chat and I couldn't understand why. Turns out I had turned party chat off, and people WERE trying to communicate and I couldn't see it. I felt like an idiot.

My guess is to help with RMT/spam accounts. People with just lvl 1 accounts RMT spamming and advertising on the forums or just people trolling on with freshly made accounts.
