Had they only did full viera, 1/900 of the current complaint. Had they only done full hrotgar, 1/800 of the current complaint. But ofc they had to give us 2 half races and do something that literally nobody asked for, which is force the players that want to play a race onto a preselected gender.

A local minority? ok lol. If you meant to say vocal minority, that argument got old months ago. Then, it's very unlikely that we see them through the 5.x patch cycle, but nobody knows, and if we don't complain they won't give them to us.

You say this like the devs are sitting at their desk being whipped every time someone whines about Male Viera in English.
If you stay subbed to the game they legit haven't had a negative impact from you. Leaving the game would be the only way to hurt them so bumping this thread doesn't bother or affect them in any way. People need to get over themselves lol

I think keeping this thread on the front page is a great thing. It gets more exposure, and more exposure means more likes on the OP. As long as people are respectful and on topic, I think bumping is fine. Talk about viera, lore, post art, etc...

Oh nothing at all. They only brought upon themselves the demand for 4 new models when they could have only done 2, and let's not forget about the biggest riot yet.
Oh fun fact: SE takes all of the money from subscriptions and XIV team only has that of the Mog Station, so if you do like me that I will not only limit my sub after I cleared all the content, but stop buying absolutely anything from the mog station, this is hurting them

its not that, people want variety, if you get the same male and female characters all the time it opens up only one story about one race but we got two.

I rather have two story driven character races than just one that we already know about, that's what you don't get, we know what Viera is it has nothing to do with the character its about lore and story but people will say hey who cares about lore and your story well guess what who cares about Male Viera then.

Well my cousin plays this and even said he really could care less about Male Viera doesn't seem like it would fit in and he never seen one in 12 why even bother adding it.

his friend said no thanks that if it messes with the lore he don't want it.

I mean if it comes later down the road after they release a few more races and then explains why Male viera showed up maybe I wouldn't have a issue.

First off they say this all the time for example FFXI.

We can't expand on inventory limitations full of space now boy how about those limitations lol
PS2 wasn't supposed to get as much as it did they told us no we can't they gave it to us anyways.
It was always the limitations story and we still got more for FFXI.

they are given a budget and aren't supposed to go over that budget but you never know what happens in next expansion.

its funny if you believe that when they add different beastman tribes in game then you see them putting different races but only as NPC its always about the surprise why would you want to know whats coming all the time that's boring.

like I said using FFXI as a example heard this a million times from Square enix about they can't add stuff.

but usually gets added down the road when a new expansion comes and they want to, just because they said no now doesn't mean no forever.

but if they didn't add anything I wouldn't blame them because look how you all act when you don't get nothing, you attack and begin to throw these anger fits people telling them they are going to unsubscribe if they don't get it its best not to add anything at all this way you don't get your hopes up or even attack them anymore than to give something and risk you all going after them.

Let's not generalize. Maybe there have been angry posts by people, but it's not all like that. Just a few pages ago, we had someone posting art they drew in a positive show of support.
