Could you possibly be more salty about someone giving feedback on your opinion? Relax. There's a difference between you giving feedback that XIV is simplifying things in order to appeal to new players (something I would agree they're doing) and saying that it's specifically due to incoming players from WoW and ESO.

Specifically healing and tanking are very different in WoW and ESO - in XIV tanks and healers do a ton of damage, often more than dps in casual content. In ESO (and apparently WoW though I never played it) that isn't the case. As we give tanks more dps tools and give healers more tools to allow for more dps I can only see XIV heading further away from the more strict role identities that are present in those other games.

I agree that if this is something you really want to complain about maybe go make your own thread on it? Or go to Reddit and farm karma, they're basically a hivemind over there.

In WoW tanks often have great aoe and outdamage dps sometimes in aoe pulls, but usually not single target on bosses unless a tank way outgears a dps or the dps is bad/died mid fight etc.

During my expert roulette a catboi got offended by it and ranted to me about how it makes "good guys" like him look bad. I didn't reply at all given how easy it is to report people on here now, but after I exit the dungeon and come back to Limsa a male Miqote by the name of Cat Boi runs by me and sure enough looks dead at me..... I changed my PD now out of fear of being reported >_>

It doesn't seem like anything to be offended by. I mean, it seems to be a running joke, and I don't think anyone seriously discriminates.

Wiped on Titan.

Tank and NIN both got booted off first go around. The SUM tried, god help her, but I got gaoled and he tankbusted her face instead of Titan-egi's, so... yeah.

We got it the second type, but the NIN once again derped right off the edge, so I had to compensate for that and was OOM at the last 10% of health.

OH, and the tank put Titan smack dab in the middle and turned him towards us immediately. So we all ate that spicy cleave IMMEDIATELY, causing me to have to use medica far more than I would like to in that fight, which... yanno, was partially why I was OOM.

Ho boy this gonna be a windy one.
Had a Doma castle run. me on my Astrologian that took 33 minutes. had a slightly undergeared War a Nin and a MCH. me and the tank have a bit of a joke about him being squish, i check his gear and it was an acceptable squish level. as in within 10 Ilvl required to make the dungeon smooth so I was like ' ok this should be fine.' he tests out a masspull on first group goes well until I realize JUST HOW LONG it is taking for the dps to melt its then when I notice several problems: the Nin is not using the Aoe circle. the Machinist is not using Bishop and instead is rapid firing into the crowd...rather ineffectively might I add. no attempt to use Ricochet either...the entire run. the crowd takes a solid minute and a half it feels like to go down and I'm having to juggle my OOM status to keep the tank standing for who his credit was using CDs and was using the most to keep his hp up by staying in tank stance (he did this the whole run and I'm grateful for this.) I figure: 'ok hiccups happen and I'm not gonna be mad about that in the slightest. maybe they aren't used to masspull?

first boss was agonizingly slow and I started at about 2/3rds mp. i figure alright if i get too low I'll balance out my regen rotation to keep my mana up. worked out too, aside from the NiN and occasionally the MCH eating aoes. because I needed to keep such a close watch I was barely putting in DoT. pop lucid and a Ewer at points. no real problems. Every mob set since the tank wisely decided to not mass pull, went about at the same kinda sluggish pace for the same general reasons already stated.

Second boss about as slow as the first, but because of damage spread I'm having to play it fairly safe to not dps. Machine tank miniboss before the boss room his ADDS died faster than he did. smooth sailing. Final boss? got to see 3-5 (didn't bother remembering too good) Aoe Room bombs. every single saw blade pattern...it was a mess. Still we did it, me having to reapply protect mid boss fight.

The problem? well it wasn't my tank my tank was a real champ. didn't get impatient, didn't do anything risky with his squish. I checked and lo and behold my NIN had: no other class past 60 she was wearing a worthless Ilv 70 wrist and neck slot, and a normal shire piece and base shire accessories for the rest of those slots (that's Ilvl 260, but one of her rings was for an INT CLASS so worthless to Nin. I beleive that loses you around 20+ Ilvl right off the bat.
the machinist was in mixed augmented and normal shire gear. but had a FENDING necklace on...at least his gun was the 63 unique so that's...fine enough I suppose...doesn't mean you don't lose those Ilvl points for not having the right stats though.

I got all 3 comms. I feel like I worked a full hour for those comms...at least no one died. my job Ground Zero as a healer is complete, no one died.
