Have you walked into each zone?? If you have, then you have seen everything.

I got that one the other day, it took me 30 triesYou have to get really lucky with it, I took the top path, buffed fully before going on it, and gunned it with a chocobo until you hit the bottom right part of the X section. Waited on things to move, and then headed toward the left hand of the X section. I waited at the little crevice there, and got lucky the pugot finally moved in the circle area, I was able to move all the way south.
I got close another time too, the pugot near the end moved into a crevice, but i got aggroed by the freaking raptor and died -_-;;;;;;;;;

Look at my blog.. I have taken screenshots of some of the most superb areas, you maybe not seen weather effects on lighting and tree of life etc.I got all atherytes way before 1.17 was even out. Trust me, you're not missing anything besides the achievement. The areas all look the same, the monsters all look the same as well. No variety. Found maybe 1 or 2 spots where I was shocked by the view in the entire game.

For anyone that didn't already know, you get to Scorpion Keep from the cavern close to Camp Horizon.
Not knowing this, I went to the lower level of Thanalan (where the Ferry Docks are) and went all the way around & through a tunnel filled with Puroboros that I didn't even need to go into.![]()

Try to Walk or wait Day or Night... Pop changes .... and mobs have multiple type of aggro .-.
I have all Camps And Gates (some taken when i was lv19) other at lv50 with Decoy and Featherfoot as an arc.. other with only chocobo (goobbue and eft are too slow to hit you)....
nothing is impossible guys ^^

I just got South Bloodshore, Umbra, and Snakemolt. The walking trick works, and I am pretty sure I walked through water several times when I got south bloodshore. it would have been the edge of the water, so maybe that makes a difference since when the waves recede its just sand there. Thanks to the first person who posted that trick. I've spent so much time crafting I never knew you could walk past sound agro. I'm down to just two aethers and I have the achievement.
Pretty much what everyone else said, learn what type of aggro each mob has and you won't have to throw bodies to reach a node. I have only a few left (lol Snakemolt) mostly because i didn't invest enough time waiting to sneak by or because SE trolled me and gave the Guivres some weird aggro type which seems to be "range aggro", because i walked behind it and it still sensed me.

Yea the Guivres suck... Anyone have any screenshots of that place north of Lasthold or w/e? I probably could've got there if I used the Dread Spike trick but I just moved on to the next set of nodes I needed instead.
If you press x on the keyboard so that you are walking you can walk right pass sound aggro mob ex. (drakes, crabs, jellyfish, trees from the new moggle fight area.) and sight aggro mobs like boar and raptors you can just walk behind them. I got all of crystals using these two methods.
