It actually doesn't. There is not one word in the OP about wanting more drops simply because "they wanted to buy all the items"

My problem is that you're trying to write off the OP using a strawman (claiming they said something they never said and speaking out against the made-up statement, rather than what was actually stated). So really, it's no more "off topic" than you were being.

That's too much. Now, doubling the amounts so you get 2 for a dungeon, 4 for a raid, and 6 for MSQ, however...

No one wants to run say, Tam Tara 100 times. And yet a lot of people are, and several people have the earrings already. At this point if they up the drops we're going to have the opposite problem, angry day 1-ers who took time off/had time off to grind some of this out already.

It's supposed to be a bit grindy. It's lasting until the expansion, take your time.

If you want something, work for it a little. Almost everything is handed to players on a silver plate already.

A small amount of grinding won't kill you. This is just filler content until SHB anyway.

Exactly. I made over 50 tomestones (enough to buy any mount) in one day's worth of on and off crystal tower queues. You could get the earrings with light "grind" in probably 4-5 days time, no less than a week for sure.

IMO MSQ roulette thingers should give more than 3. They take forever.

Don't do roulettes, just spam the short one twice a day or so to get the earrings in a good paced time and not feeling burnt out

While topic made no mention to wanting everything given the point of the topic being about an increase of rewards it is a fair inference to make that the OP would either like an easier time getting the rewards they want, want an easier time to obtain everything, or both. Rarely do people make suggestions without some personal motivation fueling it. Person have a short and sweet answer as to why an increase most likely will not happen.

The community always asks for things to be harder. For example, they ask for the relics to be harder. What they don't ask for is for things to be grindier. Which is what this event is. This event is not hard. It's just a grindfest.
