I'm also slightly disappointed there's no orange skin color so I can't make a proper Tony the Tiger but that was just going to be a joke character anyway.

I'm actually fairly disappointed in this. One of my favorite characters was a tiger Charr I made in GW2 and was really looking forward to making him here. It's weird that we got pink, blue, purple, and 76 shades of brown, but no classic orange.

I love viera. Concerned about hrothgar hair possibly being tied to the face.

I'm not a big fan of the limited options for the Hrothgar. Like you can't have hairstyle 6 with face 1 ect. That feels like we will have so many similar looking beastboys soon... Other than that both races look really well made. Even though I won't change to a Viera I think they look really beautiful with great hairstyles to choose from so I hope they will add more variety later on.

Viera: Pretty! I also find their emotes to be pretty funny. (They’re very calm and I didn’t expect that.) My only issue is that all of the face options look kind of similar. 9/10 might make an alt.

Hrothgar: Cool! Customization is pretty good. I also managed to make one look a little like my Roegadyn. The one issue I have is the Face + Hairstyle thing they (probably) went with. Hopefully it won’t be like this when ShB launches. 9/10 might Fantasia.

The Hrothgar remind me so much of the Werebeast race from an older mmo called Perfect world which I kind of love as it was my first race I played for such a long time on that game, perhaps I'll actually race change into it one day, The Vierra though I'm looking forward as we finally have another nice looking race that's also tall, I love playing as an Elezen but I'm definitely going to switch to Vierra once it releases, though I dare say I'll be tempted to change back to my longer legged Elezen again at some point xD

Viera faces look good, but so do Au Ra and Miqote, so I too am curious on where these new options are. Seems like Viera and Hoth got less then the base races.

Viera are lame. They have been lame since their inception. Their ff14 iteration doesn't make them any less lame. They are not adequately differentiated from miqote and aura in my opinion. Their emotes are lousy and their fancy hairs are going to clip with everything. Doesn't look like their ears move with the emotes at all.

I am beside myself with love for the Hrothgar. Such a damn good job!
The Viera don't really compare at all. They're perfectly well made but not nearly as impressive to me.
