Oh I can gauge how it's changed and I am *very* happy about what I saw for White Mage. I however understand that some of us are unable to be happy with change. An unfortunate trait but a trait none the less.I'm sorry that you're incapable of using your eyes to read, or use your experience to gauge how something has changed and whether that will be good or bad in the scope of the game's overall design as has been set out and which has remained relatively unchanged since 2013.
Those of us who are will continue to do so.

Just to clarify. Anyone saying WHM is dead with these changes is sorely mistaken. The changes we got are fine if rather misguided.
As with 4.0. SCH are the ones that need to be screaming from the rooftops here. They got a very raw deal out of this. Whilst they aren't quite as gutted as they were for the launch of Stormblood, they've still had huge chunks of their core gameplay removed with little to nothing to show for it.

Well said. People are assuming that they know everything about a game that isn't even out yet. Ridiculous.

This is the exact problem with SCH listed clearly. You do not need to play a class to read the rotation is now 211111 when solo or downtime. It is boring, it is objectively less fun than it is right now, and raid/dungeon healing requirements going up does not change that that is not the only content in the game and didnt need the gutting in order to change.
This ain't "change" though, I'm okay with changes.
But this? this is "loss".

Unhappy with bad, terrible, unneeded, unasked for change. That I'll agree is hard to swallow.
SCH backlash before Stormblood was bad enough that they received buffs almost immediately (4.03?), and thus remained the King of All Healers for the rest of the expansion. Square Enix has a good track record of listening to SCH feedback, so I think a repeat of events here is likely, although not guaranteed. Keep it up SCH mains, you have a chance...!As with 4.0. I can't wait to dot mobs one at a time at level 80 as if I'm running sastasha.
