• Transfer to another Data Center.
• Make a new character.

My advice is to never answer the door unless you are expecting it. That way, if you didn't order a pizza then you will have no reason to answer the knock.

Since this person clearly is spending more money then you or SE would have done something... LOL, You the only option left is to start new characters and forget about all your other progress or switch servers.

That's like telling someone being stalked, "Well you shouldn't be so stalkable."

I doubt either side has clean hands in this - there was some kind of fallout, and the former friend has gone too far or off the deep end. If it's come to doxxing him in public chat channels - in TRACEABLE WAYS - then yeah, he should absolutely report that and he should absolutely expect SE to do something about it. They can't do anything about pizzas showing up, or if there is stuff going on outside of game (discord or twitch usually come up) they can't help there.

But they can act on THEIR game if there is necessary reason.

OP - whatever happened between you and your former friend, sorry you have to deal with this stupidity now. Hopefully you find a way to resolve it soon for both your sake and your wife's.

That's why I put leaving the DC or making a new character as the last options. They are all workable solutions, however "right" or "wrong" you consider them.

Since SE and the authorities are not able to help, these are probably the only solutions.

Honestly I don't know why SE didn't bring back FF11's account wide blacklist. One blacklist and the entire account was done, including all alts. I mean, it should be clear if I blacklist someone I don't want to talk to the PLAYER, my opinion isn't suddenly going to change because they're on an alt.

The difference with FFXI is that the flist system there is handled by PoL which was account and not character based hence blocking the person disabled their entire account from communicating with yours. FFXIV is character based like wow so thats the reason. It's also the reason they cant get rid of the redundant PoL on that game either as it's built into the game system and cant be removed right now.

I switched Servers because i was stalked in game quite often. About 1 year later---> "Hello World visit Systen".
Some people are so devoted to do that kinda Stuff that you ask yourself if they even have a real life. So yes, People like that exist.

How it looked like? Did he was trying to stalk you irl too or just in game, following you everywhere? :P

Either the gms are useless with three tickets involved in this, or they've decided to not take action for reasons not specified.

In either case, their inaction is action.

Best to take matters into your own hands and transfer off the datacenter, or quit playing entirely if you refuse to transfer.

I'm not saying this is acceptable, and I have no idea nor interest in what is going on beyond what is posted here, but if authority can't or won't solve the problem you need to take options (transfer, rename, quit entirely) for your own wellbeing.

Following me everywhere, spamming emotes at me. When i blocked the Person/s, they started to scare away my Friends with random lies and also contacted every new FC leader of FC's i tried to join. One of them started to badmouth me in german FFXIV Facebook groups wich i only found out cause a friend in one of those Groups told me that there was a random Guy throwing random lies in there. I even went to a Lawyer at one point, took a while but that helped quite wonderfully.

A person to be able to Doxx has to be able to have contact with him and provide IRL information or even live near him. It has to be someone on his contact list or that has been and the evidence he has to present to authorities have to be valid evidence.

Not always the situation. A lot of cases of doxxing are situations where they don't know the individual IRL or are close to them at all. They use leaked database access and other means to gather information about the user. There are a lot of sick people out there that do messed up stuff like this all the time.
