Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Ok this dosent guarantee anything but can you please tell me why do you think this game's 11? The team that worked on 11 was the team who worked on 1.0 And I think its quite obvious that Yoshida and his team having nothing to do with them

I assume you didnt read my post and only saw ff11 and had a brain fart and decided to post. My point is, that this is and ff game and so was that and both are run by SE. If someone at SE decided that sure, there is no need to waste time to make male mithra and female galka, then the same could easily be said of this situation, which is strikingly similar to the situation in ff11. While yes, yoshi isnt the same dev as the ones in ff11, its still SE who has the ultimate yes or no, and from i remember, people banged a bit hard to try and get the point out.... Only to be handed a mithra npc.

The problem here is that you dont even consider the fact that this it is possible we wont get malr viera and out right say things like SE wouldnt do that, fans would get mad. Seems to me, if thats your thought process, then SE knew full well that fans would be crossed in the first place, yet here we are. Whats worst, is that you have already said that if we dont get them by 6.0, you plan on dropping sub or reducing it to basic..... All because of not getting a playable race?

People have different breaking points and criteria for whether to sub to the game or not. It's not really up to you to determine whether it's a valid reason to unsub, or not. Racial genderlocks sit very poorly with a lot of people, myself included.

Customers vote with their wallets, in the end. If I find the game isn't offering enough to be worth it to me, and is putting too many resources in areas that are not of interest to me, I may unsub. What's wrong with that?

First of all, this has nothing to do with 11. In 11 almost everyone was fine with it specially because of how different the times were. Then, I will do whatever I want with my subscription and you aren't anyone to judge me for it or tell me what to do with it

I cant wait till we see a Male viera npc.

This would actually hurt even more, since you see them, but you cant play as them! But it would increase the chance immensely to get them as playable characters by seeing them as npc. even though i think they wouldn‘t add them as npc without adding the gender to the character creation. But anyways, i‘d be keen on seeing how they would come out(as npc or as actually playable)!

I think Male Viera and Female Hrothgar are going to come anyways in the next expansion. I believe Yoshi has been planning it from the very start and when the next expansion comes along, he'll say he listened to the feedback. If you remember, he said that they'll prob not do anymore races but he never said he wouldn't do anymore genders for existing races.

It's just that their character informs their entire gameplay experience. You literally cannot do any content in the game without having your character present. It makes sense, at least to me, to at least want to enjoy the company of that character / want the ability to identify with that character.

It's like.. paying to go to a themepark but being told you have to wear a horrible, itchy wool body suit while you're there. And when asking if you could maybe wear a tshirt and jeans like some other guests get to someone goes "Lul you want to pay $40 to wear a tshirt???"

No one is saying they shouldn't care about customizing at all. I'm just saying that alone shouldn't be the weighing factor of staying subbed, compared to everything else. If these races were never announced, no one would be threatening to unsub over racial options. They seemed fine with them up to that point
