Huh? The quickest queue times I've EVER received as a dps have been between the hours of 3am and 5am. Often instant. 'Also has the highest frequency of parties in progress for those who keep the option enabled.

I make a point of not queueing for anything past 11 PM, except for exceptional circumstances.

I'm on Adamantoise as well and always see people. I'm even in a fields leveling Botanist in the middle of HW and see someone running around. PF's are normal and Eureka is a the end of its life cycle.

Yes, I mostly play at off hours. From 11pm-6am. The game still felt alive at all hours even these late hours before the split. Maybe I'll have to swap to a European data-center and see if I can play with the lag.

I’ve seen a lot of people active on Jenova, it’s also not just because of the data center split people are playing other games while waiting for the expansion, I know several people in my FC that are doing this.

I expected this would happen, splitting 2 big data centers into 3 smaller ones. But not to this extent. And when people log in, see nothing going on in party finder or especially eureka they just log back out, exasperating the problem. I don't know if the split was required for world transfers to be possible, or if they're anticipating a big influx of new players to fill all 3 when the expansion releases. But for now I've been losing interest in the game when I log in and see nothing going on. This will be my last month subbing for a while, I don't plan on playing the expansion unless I see positive things about it a few months after release. If you're going to fracture a player-base so much, maybe work on cross data-center party finders or instancing to keep the illusion of high population? I feel like I'm playing a Solo-MMORPG.

I don’t think the game is a ghost town. Cactuar is pretty active except in the late night hours/early morning hours on weekdays.

Adamantoise cities are filled with people. I am sure this guy is over exaggerating for dramatic flare. It could also be another Blizzard rep.

Just a casual reminder that it is most likely because of the content lull before a new expansion. It happened at the end of ARR, it happened at the end of HW and it's happening now, too.
