With the new changes to tank stance, now, every tank can generate constant enmity without an "enmity combo" so ALL tanks are equally viable to pull at the start. Just turn on tank stance and do your regular opener. You'll be the only one doing extreme enmity generation, and with ZERO penalty, you can keep it on, and the other tank will just turn it on to voke and take your place, and you'd turn yours off.

Neat. I mean I don't do savage so pulling has never been a problem for me as a PLD, but it's nice to know that PLDs will be able to main tank/pull and tank just fine in high end content now.

It seems like one of those things that only really matters if you're doing some crazy min/maxing. I've never had a problem with it, but then I only do casual content.

You are the chowder head. You obviously have no idea what optimization is otherwise you would not have even typed that sentence.

PLD now pulling: Loses everything. GCD to leave Shield Oath, WAR and DRK don't have to do this, Needs to use Rage of Halone to generate threat, with no bonus to it whatsoever, and it generates no resource for the PLD at all. Loss in dps right there, no mana, no dot, no nothing. WAR has no penalty with unchained, can go right into their opener with no problem, no enmity combo needed and can set up for burst window during Raid buffs like trick, littany, chain, AST cards, etc... DRK loses very little during this burst window as well, and can even increase enmity with DA DP and DA PS, PLD gets bare minimum enmity generation that is trash.

PLD has now delayed their entire rotation, so their dot, holy spirits, and Royal authorities boosted by Flight or Flight and Req, RECEIVE NO RAID BUFFS EVER.

This completely neuters them for dps. Literally no other tank suffers.

PLDs should NEVER pull. Now they can.

Imagine the dreaded alliance raid roulette where all 3 tanks are PLD. It happened to me once, we sat for the entire duration at the entrance until the auto-disband. There was nothing that could be done.
Jokes aside, autism about optimization is only relevant to certain people in certain duties. While I am not trying to diminish the importance of these duties, pushing your optimization obsession on other players is what causes filthy casuals to have a bad opinion about people like yourself. Just relax sometimes, man :^)

Paladin being less efficient at pulling isn't the same as 'cannot' though, they can do the job just fine they just don't squeeze out as much dps. And that only really matters in high end content, if I queue into alphascape normal or orbonne monestary and the other tank(s) don't want to pull so I do, it's not going to cause a wipe or ruin the run.

Trying to do your best to be efficient is not something to be ashamed of.
Using "autism" as an insult towards the people who do, on the other hand, definitly is.

Settle for the bottom line if that's enough to make you feel good. But don't try to drag down everyone just because you are satisfied by mediocrity. You should support people in trying to make good choices, instead of excusing terrible ones thinking that it's good enough. And it doesn't only applies here, it's a general common sense to have in life overall. In short, be better, don't settle for the worse.

Depends, Warrior's enmity opener also came from Equilibrium's heal. If that's still there, Warrior will always have priority.
