That sounds like abusing the votekick-system. I mean, what's the reason for this kick? There is no such thing as "difference in playstyle" anymore and while doing single pulls may be annoying, it's neither cheating nor harassment.

Sorry, but people who do this are one of the reasons I dropped tanking once I hit level 60 and never looked back. It was a well deserved kick and apparently others agreed with the tanks rationale as well. Tanks set the pace. Period.Got kicked from 50/60 roulette this morning. The story goes like this.
Que pops, its xelphatol. I think "dope, I love this dungeon the pulls are fun and it's a fast dungeon". I'm on WHM, I protect the party and the WAR runs to the first group.... and stops. I throw regen on him and poke him 2 or 3 times and tell him he can mass pull. No response. So being the kind dude I am I spring to the other groups, snag them, and bring them back to him. Drop an asylum after I throw another regen on him and proceed to aero 3 and holy spam/assize in all its glory.
After that's said and done I see him type in party "this is your only warning, don't pull I'm the tank". I kinda scoff but politely respond with "I only pulled because you weren't man, we all outgear this content. No need to turn a 12-13min run into a 30min run." I'm not with "so? It's my time too." So I come back with "you should respect other people's time as well". I'm met with a flat "no." And once we get to the first boss -you have been dismissed from the duty- so clearly he was running with his clique lol.
Needless to say, that's the hardest I've laughed today. The incompetence of some people is utterly mindblowing to me at times. He didn't have trouble grabbing the ads I brought back and I had no problem healing him (was mostly just regen healing him between holy spam anyway). So my question is, why would someone act that asinine instead of asking themselves "maybe I am going slow? This healer obviously isnt having any issues maybe I can use this as a chance to practice doing big pulls?" If they are somewhat inexperienced and since it is pretty much expected for a tank (at least I feel it is) to be able to perform adequate pulls and not drag a run out longer than it needs be? But no, let's be children and be like "yOu don't pAy mY sUb sToP rUiNiNg mY ExPeRIEnCe". God I love DF hahaha.

If you insist on single pulls when your party requires multi, that is harassment. Especially when you take the next step and refuse to pick up adds.
That and playstyle differences are absolutely still viable reasons to kick. The options listed are not an exhaustive list, and the most important component to all of this is no single person kicks.
The single person must lose against the group. You do what your party wants, or you pack your bags.
That's why I'm fine with this kick ; their party wanted slow pulls, so they kicked them for pulling more.
The reverse is just as true. If the party wants large pulls, you deliver or the party sends you away.

look, you do him a favor, you mean well but the tank dont want it, and the dps not complaining so what else you can do? keep forcing him?Instant queues thank goodness. So it's not like it was any skin off my back. Just comical.
like i said before, just be done with it and move on, if you want a bit extreme then blacklist him, there is bazillion tank out there and the game not going anywhere, the only thing you lost is probably a couple of minutes.

As a healer, I actually never ask for bigger pulls if a tank chooses to do small packs; I automatically assume they don't feel like pulling big, they are back in tanking after a while, maybe undergeared or else. In the end, it's a 5 minutes difference in the dungeon, it's alright. (And sometimes you have Tank and Healer ok with big packs but painfully bad DPS that make it harder)
If you want to speedrun roulettes, do it with friends because you can't guarantee you'll be matched with people that have the same mindset than you.

Didn't even think about that, but that is so true! Reminds me of a week ago or two, when one of my friends and I (me tank, him healer) were running dungeons. I was pulling big, as usual, especially comfortable with his healing, but the fights took literal centuries, because for some reason neither the Ninja OR the Black Mage were using any AOE at all. Sirensong sea. The DPS was SO LOW that I had to interrupt that last add before the last boss 3 times! It was actually unbelievably low. We had ran the same one (he was doing that dungeon for levels), a couple days before and we had thought having to interrupt that last add twice was painful, but no it could get way worse...

I'm with you, if the tank doesn't want to pull bigger.. is it really anyone elses place to force them to? The dungeons were technically designed to be one pack at a time, if you want optimal runs PF is the way to go. DF you take what you get. Especially if you're meeting minimum standards. Complain if someone is just standing there or actually failing to do their job, but sometimes you're gonna get someone who isn't interested in sprint clearing and if they simply ignore your attempts to request it.. most of us take the hint and just get it done.As a healer, I actually never ask for bigger pulls if a tank chooses to do small packs; I automatically assume they don't feel like pulling big, they are back in tanking after a while, maybe undergeared or else. WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?

No, it's not. If the tank isn't comfortable with big pulls yet, because they are new to the dungeon or whatever and want to take it slow to be save and test the water, then you should deal with it. Also "the party" didn't required bigger pulls, as it was the healer who got kicked instead of the tank. So the rest of the party was okay with the small pulls, either because they didn't care or because they knew the tank and were supporting him.
I'm sorry, but I remember how speedruns as a newbie nearly turned me off to this game. So if the tank doesn't want to pull big, I just roll with it rather than pretending my time is more valuable than anybody else's.
I've had DPS try to tell a tank to pull bigger, and I've chimed in with "Pull with what you are comfortable with. I'm your healer, not them".
