To be honest...

I just picked Rhalgr because he's The Destroyer and as a Warrior, that spoke to me

Though, had I picked my actual sign, then according to this information my character would be associated with Azeyma, which as a Keeper of the Moon, is not the most apt...

Aries fits my character well though. Courageous, determined, aggressive, takes on leadership roles and likes physical challenges...

Cardinal, Muteable, and Fixed energies are getting even further into things. The system of western astrology is quite expansive. We could get into ascendant, moon, and other planetary placements, houses, aspects/oppositions etc. but would just continue to unravel if we did. Because Hydaelyn has six elements opposed to our four, it's going to throw some things off. As an example, both Cancer and Scorpio no longer fall under the element of water, while Virgo which is represented by Earth is now water.

In terms of the three energies, this would likely change as well and muteable being the one that shifts from cardinal to fixed would be the one to go. So each Cardinal and Fixed energies would take one diety from each of the six elements, and would likely look something like this.

Cardinal: Menphina, Nymeia, Oschon, Rhalgar, Azeyma, Althyk

Fixed: Halone, Thaliak, Llylaen, Byregot, Nald'Thal, Nophica

Oh true and then if we just ignore the elements and go with ones that probably fit their theme more I'd put Capricorn at Nald'Thal as they're all about climbin that work ladder while coming off cold like the dead. Put Aquarius with Byregot as they tend to be the dreamers and artsy and Aires with Halone cause they're supposed to be natural born leaders and that's what ya want in war right? Along with the fact they can do the whole vengance thing really good.

I thought Oschon matched me in real life and what I wanted for my character so I went with that. As it turns out I am a Sagittarius.

As Gemina stated (Props BTW), going into the signs would over complicate things. Its why I chose to follow the elements, each Zodiacs individual personality traits and their ruling planets rather than the cardinal, mutable and fixed signs associated with each. I'll edit my post to include my reasoning.

Also, My belief is that Just because you are one sign doesn't mean you cant exhibit behavior of another. I'm personally a Capricorn (12/30) but my personality is akin to Sagittarius, so I tend to favor that sign over the lamb sushi lol.

If you get into astrology, the deeper aspects of it explain we are more than just our Sun sign. Our personalities are influenced by other celestial positions. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter etc. will all have a zodiac sign assigned to it. The major ones though are the Sun which represents the core, the father, the heart, the ego; The Moon which represents the unconscious, the mother, intuition, and passiveness; and the Ascendant.

The Ascendant is the one a lot of people don't know what theirs is on their birthcharts. It requires that you know your ToB and location since latitude affects it. Knowing it determines what sign was in the east horizon when you were born and changes approximately every two hours; it will also identify the positions of your 12 houses.

The Ascendant is represented by outward expression, the self, the soul, and perception. In theory, the sign you relate to the most will heavily depend on which celestial energy rules your birthchart, and whatever sign your Ascendant is; the planet that rules it also rules your birthchart. As an example, someone with Venus as their chart ruler will likely relate to Libras and/or Taurus. You relating to Sagittarius despite being a Capricorn Sun could very likely mean your chart is ruled by the planet of Jupiter.

Just have to keep in mind that astrology is more of a religion than it is a science, but a lot of it does actually make logical sense when you go deeper into it. If you know your exact time of birth, you can look up your ascendant on a chart calculator. If it is not Sagittarius I would be curious if it was a least represented by one of the fire signs, as the majority of behavioral characteristics are always compartmentalized into four categories. You see this every where you go. In the case of western astrology, it is the four elements.
