If I am not mistaken, the outfits were made account-wide to those who purchased the stream, right? And that usually applies to new characters made on that account too. So in a way you still have the bonus of not paying extra for the outfit on retroactive characters, whereas the Mogstation is available for single characters only.

We'll see the new direction with "high end crafting in Ishgard" soon anyway.
My point is : the game has opened. People complained that jobs were dumbed down, that normal difficulty is too easy. It's partially true but also player experience gets in the equation: we just get better at what we do regardless of the tools we have with each expansion. Because we understand the game more and more, and that applies to combat and crafting alike.
I agree. Let’s hope the Ishgard end game content rewards both hardcore and casual players the way they should be rewarded.

Yeah, unlike the one we were given, they have to pay for it for each character. The ones we were given are distributed (once) to any character we create on our accounts. So I really don't see a problem with it being released for real money. And tbh, how many of us actually wear them, I don't, though I do have a retainers in them, but I typically don't use them....now if that watery looking blue sword Wakka gave Tidus were released, then yes, I might wear the outfit.

    2016 Las Vegas
    Fan fest details
    The don't miss out reminder.

"We’re pleased to announce that the Fan Festival 2016 in Las Vegas live stream is now available for purchase! Experience all of the fun from the comfort of your own home and receive the exclusive in-game bonus items!"

Besides the minions, this is the only instance of the outfits seemingly being called "exclusive". After and before this it's just the minions being called event exclusive and the rest of the items being a bonus.

It's a call back to a fan favorite FF game, there was literally no way they were going to keep it purely exclusive as full otufits. IF it was just Yuna's staff or Tidus sword? Maybe, but full outfits? No way.

Either way I'm pretty sick of exclusivity, and it's not like people are doing anything different for the outfits, they're paying money just like you did before. It's not that special or amazing of a feat.

generally these "exclusive" sets still have some benefit over the mogstation variant
like the original butler and maid set can go in the armoire but the mogstation one does not
which i think is a fair.
if the original Tidus and yuna set are account wide while clearly mogstation ones are not perfectly fine.

nothing is sacred do not expect things to be exclusive forever.

Do not look for your value in in-game trinkets they will always let you down and fail you. Enjoy your friends and adventures you have in the game.

Pretty much the only "eternal exclusivity" they promised was things that only people that played 1.0 could get. And then came the White Ravens at the Rising... it was seen by 1.0 players that got the White Ravens as something equivalent of, say, hitting level 50 and all of a sudden you get the Zeta Relic AND a full set of i135 gear from just hitting level 50...

Honestly I've never seen (or don't remember) anyone saying they want the Legacy Chocobo, but there were a lot of people saying they wanted the Legacy Tattoo/a tattoo. Then there was the whole "Exclusive Gobbue = No Other Gobbue Mounts Ever" thought process people had

I mean, I can understand some people wants them and that you will make money out of it, but... why would you do that?

It's not like a past event item... What is exclusive should stay exclusive in my opinion, it's a way to show that we were there when it happened and that we bought some product outside of the game. Ok, it's maybe not like buying a soundtrack or book or other physical product, but it was still a reward from buying the live stream...

Don't they make most other items from fan fests available and events available after a certain point? everyone should have guessed that it was likely to be added, especially since a lot of us loved those games. TBH, any attempts/requests to make things exclusive to a small group of others (like this post suggests) sounds pretty elitist and maybe should be re-evaluated... This is a community based game where most people should/would be happy to share something that brings them happiness with others...if you don't want to share, maybe consider investing all your time in another game. Everyone should have a shot at content/items... this game should always strive to be inclusive, so this is bananas to suggest.

I'm really glad SE doesn't do this "exclusive" b-shait like some other companies tend to do. Instead they support their casual players and late-bloomers (getting in the game at a very late point). I never got the thing why mounts, glamour or whatever should be "exclusive" for just a specific kind of players. That always drove me off from other games. I didn't played back than and therefor I really was happy that it was introduced now in the mogstore.
I don't understand the mentality of people who want to have exclusive items. Why not have everyone have the joy of having them?

Who's to say the Cait Sith minion won't be on the store at some point? It hasn't happened but it's not impossible. Giving people the chance to buy these outfits 2 years later doesn't take away your accomplishment of buying a stream.

Sure, I won't be able to tell who paid for Stormblood fanfest and who is just a filthy cash shop user anymore, but I have to ask myself, do I care? I mean, you'll know where you got yours from if it matters that much to you lol. I just don't think people should hold so much attachment to digital items but, that's just my opinion.

I can't wait for the threads that pop up if the items these new moogles are assumed to be carrying are true. Someone will be offended lol.
