I had one of the worst experiences in a seiryu ex group earlyer today. Now to give you all an idea that i know how the fight goes and things, i have 63 totems saved up and just about every run was smooth on my part aside from a couple laggy runs. Normally i make my own pf's because i like to be lead. It allows me to make sure everyone is on the same page before starting and if someone is there to troll or just make drama i have the power to remedy the situation (aka kick them).

However someone sent me a tell and asked me to join their pf since it was almost filled and that way we wouldn't be competing with our pf's. Me being the nice person that i am shrugged and said why not. This was my first mistake.....We queued in and i stepped on the A marker and claimed in chat A1. As i was a tank. I didn't notice until they already pulled that they had the friggin 1 and 2 marker backwards. I have 63 clears under my belt and this is the FIRST time i have EVER seen anyone put the 1 marker on the side with B and D markers. So naturally this only confused me. We get to the first tank tethers part and the other tank takes the side/tether i claimed in chat earlier. I took the other one just barely in time. I thought to myself "well they did put the 1 and 2 markers backwards so maybe thats why. Biggest mistake thinking that. Phase 2 comes around and we get to the first split line aoe. He took side 2 for that which was another swap from when he took side 1 when he took the tether i claimed which only then proceeded to confuse me even more. Like does he have side 1 or two make up your mind dude.... You aren't supposed to swap sides like that.

Finally what wiped us was him taking side 2 tether on the next tether part and all this swapping to random sides on his part screwed me up and we wiped. I told the party they need to learn seiryu because i have never seen people do this so crap backwards. I said i didn't have time for this crap (in a more polite way) and that i was leaving, but before i could leave they kicked me. So i'm like you know what? fine with me and i then blacklisted everyone in that group. There is no way i want to be in a group with any of them ever again. The way they acted was as if i was the one at fault too which was just a disgusting thing to do as a person. You don't run something with the markers crap backwards and do mechanics all wonky like and expect NORMAL people who run it NORMALLY to just read your mind and adjust in the middle of the fight like that. It's rude and it's disruptive. It was a waste of my time and it disgusts me that people do this kind of crap.

First time in lakshmi and 5 second in I get yelled at immediately by some sarcastic moldy avacado and their condescending smiley faces. I can't even just get something done for the first time and never touch it again. Someone always has to ruin my day. It starts out fine, untill i have to gods damned mix with people. no matter how much fun I'm having someone always has to ruin it.

I'm done. I'm tired of dealing with this. I'm tired of not being allowed to have any enjoyment from anything.

I've now had 2 WoD experiences back to back for daily Alliance Roulette for my AST.

First run -
Had to be new people or at least people watching the cutscenes as my entire alliance was ready and creating banter within a few moments of loading in. When the barrier drops I say hello to the other alliances and ask if anyone is new. No response. Keep this in mind.
No tank wanted to MT even though we had 2 DRK and PLD. I think a MCH pulled out of sheer boredom and then the 2 DRKs then proceeded to have an Unleash war on the three mobs. Immediately typed in the chat that this run was going to be fun. The PLD (in my alliance) then says they aren't comfortable with tanking yet as they have only just levelled it to 50. I check, and sure enough, a host of DPS classes to 60-70. Fair enough. I'm happy with having the OT. More DPS time for me.
The other DRKs cause many many deaths in the raid but none would be as bad as it would get when we get to Cerberus and Cloud of Darkness.
There was zero care for the mechanics. Immediate pull follow by the healers of the other alliances getting tail slapped. Shortly after that, half of alliance B stands in the purple goo and gets eaten without being small. All of Alliance A getting hit with Ululation. Every single one of them got hit and ran around like headless chickens. No one got the adds at all. I was in C and had to burn the adds. Then the chains come up and the tanks from A and B grab them and then start their unleash war again. I told our alliance to use the LB just to get out of this mess.
Cloud of Darkness was somehow worse.
Comes up with the message of "mapping the realm". 5 new people. Remember, no one said anything at the start.
Myself, my co-healer and the MCH in my group must have been the only people who stood in the meteors. No one else moved. People only started attacking the cloud and storm adds when someone put a chime and shouted in the chat to kill them. Finally ended it with a huge slew of LBs.
Someone from another alliance says "That was actually quite smooth."
Nothing... nothing about that run was smooth.

Second run -
I do the usual thing and say hi to everyone. We have 3 WAR for the raid. Overpower City.
All three WAR then pop Defiance and rush the boss. The tank in my alliance realises this and drops it. But the other two don't. I start getting flashbacks to the earlier run. Oh dear.
We get to Mainyu and about a quarter of the raid dies to the first doom mechanic. Then just by happenstance, level 150 doom hits on a player and kills everyone but about 4 people. I have my head buried in my hands at this point as myself and my SCH co-healer sigh in unison and go at it a 2nd time.
Many more doom deaths and even a few players dying to the Double Vision debuff. Then one of the other alliances casts their LB to get through it. Fair enough. I can see how you would want to get the fight over and done with... but almost everyone was up and tearing down the boss. Can't complain though because we got past it.
Then onto Atmos... Where we somehow wiped to Atmos. No one in any alliance except mine stood on the panels as they lit up. 6 people from my alliance got sucked up and spat out leaving just myself and the tank. I was targeted next and I managed to run across a platform that was lit up but as I did it I saw all of alliances A and B immediately die. Our tank was the only one left standing in the entire raid.
We get past Atmos and get to Cereberus which was, of course, a mess like the last one. I honestly can't remember much after this, I went into some sort of dumbfounded trance. I've never wiped to ANYTHING in World of Darkness before and in one raid, I'd done it twice. I can remember that one of the alliances used their LB when Cerberus was at 0.1%. Not even fully 1%... he was just about to die and someone used the LB.
At least for Cloud of Darkness in this one the people stood in the meteors so there was no almost wipe here, but there must have been at least 5 LBs go off. And one of them was my alliance's LB3 since we were the only alliance to save our LB until the end.

tl;dr World of Darkness mechanics are pretty useful and easy when done correctly...

Not exactly a dreadful story, but a memorable nonetheless. My second time running Haukke Manor I got matched with 2 other male Roes (A GLA and a MCH) plus a female Miqo'te (Pretty sure she was a RDM), though by the end of the dungeon I'd argue she was an honorary Broegadyn. I was sort of worried 'cause this was my first time healing in a long time, but luckily those worries just sort of faded away thanks to the GLA who'd without fail /psych every time we got rid of a group of trash. Pretty soon the rest of us would do the same exact thing and overall ended up being a great time. If any of y'all three are reading this, you peeps are great. Yes, I've had a handful of bad experiences here and there though never anything major (Tanks way too eager to start a fight when I am trying to explain boss mechanics, a few co-healers that just focused on DPS and some oblivious DPS).

Were you the squish squish? That's typically when I'd ask for a tank stance.

Nope, full omega augmented equipment,
The only think i could though is because the dps dead left and right because they stand in front of the boss,
but repeatly saying grit wont help and im not turning it on coz the dps didnt do their job and healer still have mp
I will turn it on if they say please at least...

I was attempting Castrum Abania this morning and got kicked on my first time there ever.

So right away I let everyone now this was my ft here. I m playing as WAR level 70 on an alt. No one says anything. ok. First few mobs no big deal. We get to the boss with the stab thingy and counter attack. I did not know what to do there so we wipe. My fault. Second time through I ask for mechanic help. I get the same response everything for all these SB dungeon, "Look up a guide", Ok. We wipe again, I ask one more time if there something that is not on the quide I need to know like where to pos boss. They kick me. Really, I finally reach this far in the MSQ of which I've never gotten to before, tell people im green, ask some questions and get kicked wow. Maybe only vets should play this game.

I was enjoying the story until that happened. Your not suppose to let others control your enjoyment but I admit that this stings, I'm thinking about not playing anymore because of it. Not sure what to do yet?

Honestly if you're going to let a couple of idiots ruin your experience with the game overall I would either assume you aren't enjoying the game that much or you aren't cut out for multiplayer games.

Mean people exist. You can try to report them for improper kicking if it'll make you feel better although I don't think anything will come of it.

Also, since I'm sure most other people won't say it if they respond to this, you can stop this from happening by just watching guides before doing new content. I'm not here to debate whether you should have to or not but just look up mtqcapture on YouTube - she's got concise guides on everything you could need and that way you don't have to be asking people in the middle of a dungeon that they probably just want to get through for explanations.

As to that bosses mechanics Stab is his tankbuster, stand in an orange towers when the 3 spawn. After the tower damage goes out he'll say "My cup runner over with [two elements]" and you need to go to the circle aspected to the element he didn't say. If he says "lightning and ice" go to the fire circle and so on. You just need to step in it for a moment to get the appropriate buff.
