Which is the point because it will help them make stable servers for SHB.

So im in about several discords in regards to hunting and baldesions arsenal. Supposedly, they stress test has concluded and only 1 singular instance of a single player mentioning the fate was gonna spawn was all I ended up getting? I know of literally a hundred players who were dying to get in on this and NONE of them are talking about it because NONE of us got to participate. They gave no advance notice or at least tried to let other worlds get an actual call for participation, and the timing was utter garbage being at 9pm PST. That is literal bullshit for a stress test. Lets spawn a fate during the week and at a a time most of our regulars wont be on. that's the smartest way to do this. I wasn't even able to participate as the timing was utter garbage that i didn't learn about this until the day after.

The FATE ran on my data centre last night (also 9PM local time). There was an alert about half an hour in advance that it would be happening, and which server to go to, then another as the FATE was beginning and (a few seconds later) to say it had concluded.

If you didn't get alerts, there may be something wrong with your system settings.

And really, it makes sense to run it on a quiet night mid-week first - less people to overwhelm the servers, and less people to inconvenience if it actually breaks things. See what happens with that amount of people, THEN progress to running it at peak time if the servers didn't break down the first time.

I never got in anyway - tried it with about ten minutes left to go, and was more than #50 in the queue with a steadily rising wait time. Which is probably exactly what they're expecting to happen and why they're doing this: to see what happens.

Worst case, it's only Ixion. No special rewards, no limited-time event, just a FATE you'll still be able to do any time it spawns. The only difference here is that it's called in advance.
