I don't want it to be elegant. We have elegant. We have pretty. We have cute. What we don't have is something actually bestial. And femininity is not about physical appearance. It's about attitude, how you choose to carry yourself, and the mannerisms you affect. They made the Hrothgar males big, beefy, and bulky because it was the least common model they already had. And there is zero chance they aren't going to reuse models when the amount of works is in the tens of thousands of gear pieces to put on them.

A female that is thicker, and more muscular than a fem!Roe is in no way more or less feminine than a fem!Roe, or a female Miqo'te, or a male Hyur, realistically. Because we impose the femininity on our character. Just like we impose whatever else we want on them. The most likely result is still a fem!Roe body model because they are already using the Roe for the Hrothgar and if they give us Hrothgal, and they didn't make a model first before deciding to genderlock, trying to capitulate to us is going to require as many shortcuts as possible. We'd likely see the same body, possibly minutely % changed where the gear can all have the same done to it, and the real differences would be in the skin textures and muscle definition sliders.

Yes, could they use an Elezen body instead? Sure. They could use a lala body and mess with the sexual dimorphism to the point our eyes would roll out of our heads. But they need to avoid further hissing and gnashing of teeth. And adding yet another "elegant" or "pretty" female to the game when the whole point of the race is supposed to be bestial and different is a slap across one cheek and then a slap across the other. Fem!Roe remodels for a Hrothgal are expected as it covered their reasoning of resource management. No one's going to carry on for a year cause they're like fem!Roe. It fits, even if it's boring. A new model, going further to the bestial side than fem!Roes might result in people saying "I don't want to play that" but they have plenty of other elegant/pretty/cute females to play already.

I think you can still be feminine and "beastly" at the same time. I actually think Bless Online's beast race looked pretty decent (someones signature or something somewhere reminded me of them):

I just think a hulk female would look like crap.

Because of this it's easy for gear to not look great on them.
Hrothgar have inverted triangle shape going on. They have normalized human proportions so that they have more of the hero buff guy shape. Like Yoshi pointed out I do expect gear to look much better on them.
Also ... Roebros aren't that far behind Elezen males. Elezen male's tall skinny guy body shape was far more popular with the newest race to attempt that not only for the better quality but because it added something too (beastly Dragon parts). Stands to reason that a better looking big race would result in better numbers. Case in point, me. I'd never play a Roebro, I think that they're wide AF. I'm all about that Hrothgar though. My Femroe already looks like more of an action hero in the amazing Eureka tank set because femroe have normalized proportions.
Agreed. I think the Hrothgar males looks really decent for a big race (buff). Their proportions are decent. Good quality.

Those female genders/races look pretty cool. It will be interesting to see what SE comes up with if they decide to make the missing genders. For me the look, run, walk and animations are all important. Personally I wasn't going to be happy about female Viera and male Horthgar until I saw them and the reveal trailers were more that I was hoping for.
