No Houses available after paying for it??????

I'm posting this so others new to this game or considering buying it will not do so. It's the biggest piece of garbage on the market for advertising something you cannot get in the game.

That's a bit much, thought.

Housing is great. Some people really, really enjoy it. But the game as a lot more to offer, too.

On the subject, I'd say like my fellow players ; be patient. I started with nothing, got an appartment, and eventually got a house. With the NA server splits, you'll have more chances to get one.

Also, housing is limited, welcome to FFXIV. I hear some Worlds have plots still available. Try transferring. Not the end of the world.

Well, it is what it is and we can't get back the wasted time we spent, but we better get all of our money back.

As others have already said - all your money back because one part of the game is not immediately available to you? Did you only join this game for the virtual housing, and get no enjoyment out of any other part of it?

You're not paying "a monthly fee for housing", you're paying a monthly fee for the game. You paid for access to it, you were given access to it, and you made use of that access. So no you shouldn't be entitled to get all the money back.

I started as black mage and found a so damn cool hat I wear from Idyllshire lvl60 with a eyelog, real classic magician amazing look ive ever seen, Then i saw summoner has similar cool long hat with this style eyelog steampunkish, cant say more words that I just must become white mage with this hat and eyelog, my god i sooooo struggle, struggle and struggle beat all the lvling to become the good healer and finally i reached lvl 70 but why is there no same hat glam like in idyllshire and this summoner has but no white mage has?, NOT A SINGLE HAT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE????????? WTF? :P :P :P

For what it's worth, the other top hat is for scholar, not summoner - so if you want it for a healer job then it's possible. Just not for white mage specifically.

It's their Lv60 job gear, so you can preview it from the Centurio vendor at the inn in Ishgard, or at the upgrade stall in Idyllshire. It comes with an equally steampunkish coat and gloves.

You might also be interested in the Plague Doctor's Mask, which can be equipped by all healers, and drops from Pharos Sirius (hard) and the Arboretum (normal). It's what Masked Rose from the Fashion Report is wearing.

If not being able to get a house straight away is enough for someone to quit the game, then I think they didn't like it much anyway. Housing isn't even 10% of the content in the game.

I understand quitting if you tried to get something for several months or years and you still don't have it, but in OP's case they're quitting at the very first attempt. That attitude won't get anyone far in mmos, given they tend to be riddled with rng when it comes to goodies.

I completely agree that the housing system is awful and needs to be fixed, but at the same time I have little pity for someone who shows so much impatience that they get into a huge strop right after their first failed attempt to get something. There are players who have been trying to get a house for over a year who show far more restraint.

Houses aren't the only form of player residency in the game. You can get an apartment and a private chamber in a free company house. While they're far cheaper than a house, the downside is the living space is far smaller and there is no outdoor space. But it is something. You're not completely left out of options.

uhhh isn't Goblin one of the Servers in the NA Datacenter? If so try to be patient for one more Week and Auto Demoliton comes back. With that you may have luck to get a Housing Plot.

Apartment living while limited but at least you are not deprived, i hope my own little nook changes your mind op.













Get one, in your case op each 1 family member can get one each in the same ward and apartment wing, i believe there are 4 of you. So 1st room can be themed as bedroom, 2nd can be bathhouse, 3rd can be kitchen and dining, 4th can be office themed.

Try the apartments guys, safe from auto demolition, no worries in case your fc disbands while your away, your room is intact. for a small fee of 500k. Here is the link to a previous event the interior design contest.

There are other really nice designs, i joined myself but was not fortunate enough.

Now imagine if the apartment building is improved with more novelty and scenic sorroundings, and apartments units are studio type by default but are upgradable to large area apartments and had large outdoor balconies as well.

My wife, both Sons and I bought FF14 over a month ago. We love the game and spend every day playing it.

You seem like a pretty tight-knit group of people. surely it wouldn't be an issue for you guys to move to another server together where housing is actually available.
