Same sentiment here, cool fights, bit on the simplistic side but that "ultimate" move felt plain buggy with all the server latency.I enjoyed it.
I really liked being able to warp strike, that was fun.
The full room aoe was a bit tight on the timing.
Took me several tries to get it to register me not in the 'instant death' zone even though I had warped to, and was standing by, the pillars every time it went off.
The car does look a bit... well.. dumb though. Totally does not fit Eorza. *sigh*

OMG! This crossover event was spectacular and the best imo. Being a fan of both XIV and XV, it was a dream come true seeing my character meeting the Prince of Lucis <3
The cutscenes were great; the camping scene just made me squeal with joy ^^
Others have mentioned this as well, do we ever get to see that photo that we took with Noct?! If we don't, that would suck, but that's okay because it inspired me to draw a picture on what the photo may look like (may post it under my ANIME SCREENSHOT REDRAW thread)
This may sound sappy, but I did cry a little bit when I reached the end of the event because I didn't want Noctis to go especially knowing the outcome of his journey in XV T^T I just had so much fun hanging out with him..
P.S. Got ALL of the rewards.

People talking about the Garuda AoE wind attack... I died with SMN 3x until I realized that you could actually run THROUGH the pillar after teleporting to it... so I just kept running through it each time until her attack finished. I think most people don't try to keep running after teleporting, thinking that simply teleporting is enough... but it seemed like getting further distance (running through the pillar) was what saved me.

I enjoyed it but I feel like Valse di Fantastica for the Regalia mount theme would work way better than it's current one.

I want the camp song as an orchestration.

You didn't just meet him, he saw fit to grant you power.![]()
I wouldnt mind Veiled in Black as my default combat music *wink wink SE*
Give everyone a big pat in the back for that event!
I wasn't expecting anything out of it as FFXV had too many things i didn't like about it and I didn't buy it. So there was no AH-HA! moment from references for me and still... This event was extremely nice!
We got many cool musics, an okay costume and the FIRST 4 places mount for FREE! ($ i mean)
They could've put the Regalia in the cash shop (honestly I was expecting that and it would've been fine for me even if I probably wouldn't have put the money in for it)
But no, instead we all have a chance to get it and Yoshi even said they could put the event back on should players ask for it which is insane costumer consideration in my opinion.
The Garuda fight... That's one of the best fight's I've had in this game I wish I could do it again!
Let's take a look at why the warp mechanic was fun:
From a parameter point of view, all you're doing is:
- selecting the correct target among a couple targets
- executing a skill given to you with the appropriate timing
The form given to this could've been something like, select the proper target and use a gun skill that shoots it up with the correct timing. Mechanicaly it would've given the same result. However, the appearance and form we experience by using a warp skill instead provokes two feelings for the players:
1. We feel like bad asses ninjas teleporting around the map at the speed of light like we have super reflexes and the lack of CD on the skill puts the emphasis on that feeling as we get to experience it non-stop.
2. It really feels like we are being a team player by coordinating our skill with Noctis and increasing the damage for the both of us by doing so.
That's my feedback, make us feel these two things more in the upcoming content (Post SHB cause it's all already made I know) and there's bound to be more satisfied players.
Keep up the good work and send some love to the JP studio as well they deserve it too!

Overall the event was a nice one, and I like the stuff we did get out of it. I also enjoyed the story and the camp scene especially. If I had to request anything else of it, it would have been to give music scrolls of all the FFXV music that was featured in the event, and also a Noctis minion would have been fantastic.
As someone who really enjoyed FF15 i was happy overall with the event.
I think it was done well, i enjoyed the fights and a part of me wants a Noctis job put into the game now. Warping was so cool.
I know a lot of people felt some type of way about the event, because its the popular opinion to trash talk FF15.
But i thought it was really good, and it even made me feel nostalgic in a way.
And the rewards were definitely amazing. A free outfit that is dyeable and goes into the Armoire saving space. A new hairstyle, and the first ever 4 seater mount for FREE!
I still saw people complaining about how the event was trash, but even if you felt that way i think the rewards definitely make up for it.
