Because they are a fierce race of female warriors who live in a jungle that is super hot and stifling. If you notice most peoples who live in jungles tend to wear very little clothes at all. Should they be wearing full plate in a jungle?...look like strippers? Come on, S.E.
I was looking forward to playing a Viera for something different but that starting outfit is too much for me to overlook. They look like they are straight out of Forsaken World.
I thought you were better than that, Square Enix. Count me as disappointed.
Just because you're a guy that's not confident about wearing bunny stuff doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with it. Let the people who are confident enough with their masculinity to wear the stuff that somehow offends your own.
Likewise, just because a woman wears clothing that is revealing and shows off her body or skin doesn't mean that she's a slut either. She's proud of her body and proud to show it off.
The people who believe that the devs are promoting a sexist stereotype are actually the ones that can't let the stereotype go itself and the real perpetrators promoting that it should still be recognized. Let. It. Go.
So tired of this age where people think that a girl going out in shorts in the summer time is "looking for trouble".![]()
Actually, they do or we'd still be under that Alliance Loot nonsense. The entire three regions raised so much of an issue when they made it impossible to roll on gear that was on your main job that they took it out fairly fast due to forum feedback.

Player
When was this exactly?
Last year around early April, they tried to implement an All Greed option because the devs thought that was more "fair" than allowing people who needed the gear on their respective jobs to roll Need.

Everyone was so pissed off that Yoshida made a direct forum post to apologize.

Oh I remember that. I don't 24 man since my laptop's a potato, so I never got a chance to rage over that.Last year around early April, they tried to implement an All Greed option because the devs thought that was more "fair" than allowing people who needed the gear on their respective jobs to roll Need.

So, I want to say that they do read the forums, but I also believe at the costs when all three regions are emotionally in turmoil about something, and they literally have no other choice but to respond.
Well if it's as player breaking as ALL GREED ALL THE TIME, I can see them stepping in and fixing it, not things as silly as "muh bunnahs are 2 sexah! y u do dis?" or "WHERE MUH BUNNAH BOIS AT?" I thin while they are taking fan response into account, they are ignoring the blatantly stupid stuff.
Depends on the outrage honestly, but it may not be that big of a deal if the other two regions are being laid-back about it.Well if it's as player breaking as ALL GREED ALL THE TIME, I can see them stepping in and fixing it, not things as silly as "muh bunnahs are 2 sexah! y u do dis?" or "WHERE MUH BUNNAH BOIS AT?"
