To me the selling point was the Viera ( female only). The male version is left to be implemented..... Who knows yoshi might suprise us, once shadow bringers is released. Since, it was his last minute decision to make one that the community wanted.

And I personally don't like the Ronso race, even if that was SE original plan( Ronso male and female).... They could have made an android or machine type race instead. But that's my view point...

He said he wanted feedback about it. I am giving my two cents. Instead of mulling it into the endless spew of vomit I thought I'd make my own. While I admit it comes off a tad snarky I wasn't intending to be hateful. But I was honest. I have no interest in Hrothgar. It's not that I don't admire them for putting in the work but that the race in and of itself just doesn't do it for me. It didn't in FFX either. And while I want male Viera will it kill me to wait for it? No. Truth be told I am actually quite happy with my male Miqo'te. The point I was, is, and still am trying to get across is that the vast majority of the uproar is caused by disappointment. Like I said I looked forward to it for something fresh to play as but to be perfectly honest I not gonna lose sleep over it. Already have work to blame for that. I'm not trying to cause further discord either. Just simply stating things as I see them to be. I've lived a long time and seen a lot of crap. Hard to pull BS on me.

And just to be fair here those of you that wanted Hrothgar I am happy for you. Don't get me wrong. But don't mistake my fairness for complacency. Also the ones screaming the nonsense like... well you know what it is you're screaming. That's a rabbit hole I am not going down. Let it go please. Japanese culture DOES NOT recognize that sort of thing and most likely never will in our life time. Nothing you'll ever be able to do about it.

All in all I just wanted Yoshida to know my personal take on the situation, from my personal topic, in a personal letter. Didn't want it to get heated. If I knew the man's email address I would have sent him one. Simple as that. Again, wasn't trying to be rude, hateful or disrespectful but after all these years of people wanting the same bloody thing and this is what happens you have to admit you have to call em on their BS, regardless of reasons, valid or not.

For someone who advertises to keep it civil, I see nothing but hostility from the OP when he's being constructively criticized for not checking out the interviews first.

If you think this is hostile I'd love to know what you consider what the rest of the other fallacy is regarding this mess is? Consider this... I have just as much right as anyone else to use these forums. And FYI, kindly I might add XD, I have glanced over the interviews. Glanced I say because working the hours I do doesn't allow me much time to rest never mind go over game related things. I haven't even played in 3 weeks. I am about to go to bed anyway. Thought i'd see what kind of a mess this caused because people inexplicably can't behave themselves. It's almost like, dare I say it, they're keyboard warriors. This isn't a stab at you personally by the way but it astounds me at just how much people will get offended at nothing to get offended over. I was candid with my statement to Yoshida. I spoke my mind. And like I said it may have come off as a tad "brash" but I meant no harm in it. Sometimes you got to get right on the line dividing what is acceptable and what isn't in order to get a point across. Every other topic in regards to this "subject" is nothing but hate thrown back and forth. Do you honestly believe they care for that nonsense? Most of that will be locked and deleted in a matter of days. Why waste my time posting in it? As I have stated before. It's disappointment causing this. People are upset. They waited and waited and waited. And for what? To be told no. Now he's dangling a "carrot", God the irony, over our heads saying the feedback basically determines it (reservations of course I am sure). And to be honest it's a slap in the face of the people that wanted both races. Why would you do that to your player base knowing good and well what would come of it? I saw the Mr. Happy interview (well like 5 minutes of it) and he had the gall to ask how we were handling the news here in the West... Yoshida... stop that mess. You know dang good and well how it's being taken over here. Subtlety is not your strong suit. Neither is feigning ignorance.
