Viera males should be smaller like Au Ra females

in my opinion, we already have bulky male body types: highlander, au ra, roegadyn, and now hrothgar
we already have tall male body types: highlander, au ra, roegadyn, hrothgar, elezen
we already have broad/fit male body types: midlander/highlander, miqo'te, au ra, roegadyn, hrothgar
and we have one really short male body type: lalafell

what we're missing is a short, but not lalafell short, male, who is also slim
I think male viera would fit very well into this. when I think of male viera, I think of a smaller build, slim, and agile. something that can stay hidden easily

on a side note, did you know male rabbits tend to be smaller than their female counterparts of the same species

They could. In case with released same looking females. Back in 2015 "cute" concept for males was opposed to same "cute" concept of females. And their mature concept was quite perfect in my opinion - it was slim enough to not be considered as Higlanders, but no too much slim which would be a little bit weird for tribe that live in jungles and kills everything around them. At same time they had same level of "suggestive look" as male Miqo'te do. I would notice that their behaviour are quite similar in many ways. So personally I see them as something between Au Ra and Miqo'te. Tall (can be shorter than females for a reasonable rate, not 50 cm as it is with Au Ra), athletic, but not "big".

Not to mention that there already was tones of "wtf" with Auri disproportions. I would like to see one more cute race, just not in case with Vieras. It can be even cute beast type race.

I suppose I should ask what is actually short for you in their case. Elezens are quite tall so you likely mean something about ~170-180cm? Well, it can look good (most likely will look good). But "female aura" concept will be gross, imo. Their dimorphism look disgusting and gross for me though I like both genders. ;_; As for thin - I cant say that Elezens do look really thin. In this term Viera male should probably have muscular slider which will be better since people have different opinion in this part.

You know what? I would like to see race as Qiqirn in game. Hard to imagine armors on them for now, but yes, they can work.

My biggest problem with Elezen wasn't the fact that they were tall but they had weird cartoonish body proportions. Like they came straight out of Bloodborne. Long Necks and Wide Shoulders. Because of this, their heads looked very small. What sort of body proportions are you people looking for in a male Viera along with their height for either of the clans? I personally think having at least one clan that is around the height of a female Au Ra or slightly taller wouldn't be so bad. As long as they don't make them look unnatural proportionately.

Seconded. I love my lala, but something a little less rotund might be fun for some variety.
