Scholar Speculations - Nerfs and New skills

Eos - is getting nerfed.
Selene - is getting Buffed ( have more a bard feel give more party wide buffs)

now for new skills

lvl72 - Summon Titania - (only get this quest after you beaten titania primal)

Titania is a tank pet with healing abilities - only pet that can attack targets has a paladin like feel to it to help scholars solo betters. while increasing damage over time effects the scholar does while holding aggro

Titania is not group friendly

Still learns - embrace- but its main job is asborb hits and protect the scholar from damage

Abilities
Guardian Blade - Delivers an attack with a potency of 85.
Additional Effect: Increased enmity.

Queens Justice - Delivers an attack with a potency of 70 to all nearby enemies.
Additional Effect: Increases Damage done by broil.bio, maisma, maisma 2 and shadow flare by 10% for 20 seconds
Additional Effect: Increased enmity.
When Obey is active, will only execute upon command.

Gaurdians Sheilds - Covers the scholar reducing all damage dealt and emnity dealt by 20% transfers it to titania

Embrace - (we all know what this does)

this is main thing here thou honestly cant think any other abilities at moment cause scholar atm is quote strong.

Temperus End - Deals 400 Damage too a target or heal a target for 400 potancy
Resets dots if used for damage
Resets the cooldown if used as healing
Aetherflow other types of abilities but mainly aetherflow thats more lustrates
has 180 second cooldown
Instant cast

this ability to me is very strong its lets the scholar reset the cooldown for aetherflow allowing them to use thier stacks more often while being able to heal or damage.

really cant think of much here like said scholar is really strong. its hard to think of stuff for class extremely stable in alot of ways then one just lot different aspects to think about

Healers don't have survivability issues in solo content. Not even close. Absolutely no need for a tank pet.
I personally don't know what they have in store for shb, they seem to want to separate MT/OT duties so maybe we'll see more niche healing for each healer. I feel like SCH will get more mitigation tools but nothing as far as direct healing goes.

WHM's Lily mechanic was an example of adding in abilities that are counter productive to most actual situations within the game.

EaMett is spot on, adding a tank pet for SCH is just inviting more of the same problems.

I love the idea of adding Titania as a third fairy, though I'm not sure what form she could take.

I'd have thought it would be more likely they'd add Lilac as the third faerie. I know SMN and SCH both come from ACN but with Titania being a primal that's more SMN field than SCH.

Maybe split the faeries by heals/shields/other utility buffs.

Love the idea of a third fairy. Hate the implication that it should be solo focused.

I'd love a passive ability that gives a small, raid-wide buff depending on what fairy you have out.

I was thinking of Titania as a lvl 80 ability that is summoned, but many of her abilities in FF lore are whm related with Holy spells, and even some casting spells such as fire, water and flare. The healing aspects would also have to be unique to not be just some better version of Eos.

I would like to see them expand on all of the healer dps abilities and add perhaps 1 or 2 healing moves because we know they are going to gut some abilities.

I would like to lean in on the mitigation and shields.

- Improve the dmg mitigation of Sacred Soil depending on outgoing dmg. Something along 50% dmg reduction for room-wide AoEs versus 25% for tankbuster/auto(s). So that it's not overshadowed by Excog or Indom, but can work alongside them.
- An ability that makes the next spell used auto-crit. Can be used as a DPS increase, or to allow us to deploy-adlo strategically.
- Eos: An AoE MP refresh. Also a physical variant of Fey Covenant.
- Selene: A DoT or debuff extender?

I would like a oGCD shield close to benison. That would be awesome
