Gender locked or not, i'm happy about them because it is still a lot of work to them, Viera and Ronso was asked since long, and they gave us both. Then there's a possible this could be an experiment and feedback is coming in showing positive results meaning the fans do truly heartily wants this. It's too early for it to be a April Fools Joke so it could be a test for the community, but that's my theory with your statement.

Yes they listened, but with the current decision it was not executed all the way.

If it's a test...by the standard of most tests I've taken, this community would likely have MASSIVELY failed due to how both sides(pro gender lock and anti gender lock) have been acting. If it was a test to see if there was enough support to get them to be both genders...I still think it would have been a failure...but who knows what standard SE would be holding this to if it was a test.

I honestly hope they wont add female Ronso and Male Viera, there is no reason for it. They made a choice, and i'm pretty sure they will stick to it. Way more people are fine with their choice than the people complaining here. Yes we pay for the game, but that doesnt give us the right to make a choice for the developpers. They do actually listen a lot the player base, they gave us 2 races that was asked for, when they stated Au Ra should be the only race added. Yes it is gender locked, but i can see nowhere they ever told we will get male Viera.

Calling SE homophobic is a total disrepect. And why it is like 90% about Male Viera. I almost dont see people complaining about the Female Ronsos ?
