Letter to MR Yoshi: Why parses system is destroying the ffxiv world.

This thread is from what, July? Parsing has been destroying FFXIV since near launch, and it's doing pretty well for a destroyed game.

Did we really have to bump this thread? Parsers are fine, they gauge a players ability to clear content and find problems that aren't immediately apparent. Being an asshole with a parser still makes you an asshole

I was neutral, then the nonsensical arguments of the anti parser people swung me to pro parser.

I had cleared almost all EX / Savage content pre 4.X when it was current content. I never used a parses
At the beginning of 4.x I was MIA for 6 months. It didn't take long and I was back to do Savage content again. One person in my new Group was always posting Parses data in the discord. It helped I tweaked how I played BRD and Warrior and my numbers went up. But it wasn't the different between clearing content and not.

But I only like doing EX content with people I know I hate doing it with pugs or even farm parties.


I do hear about people getting kicked from Clear parties because they don't have a resume on the parser website.
But I would sooner not play with players like that.

OMG you are apparently so full of yourself that don’t realise you are taking to a expert players. I know all you say it dear and I can play well with almost all classes probably better than you

FYI, that's the date they joined the forum, not the date they started the game, for whatever it's worth.
