Come 1.21 people are only going to want archers that are bards, so they should enjoy it now.
I agree though they need to give each class a unique ability that isn't stack able.
Still don't understand why every MMO openly denies the attack, defend, and heal paradigm and thinks hybridization is an acceptable substitute.
I'm disgusted by how easy & effective Arc is yet again & my Mrd is yet again TP starving and misses half the combos, because mobs don't stay still or the left/right side is too tiny and you pass it.

ARC had to sit through months of being rejected by EVERY party going to Ifrit because of Animation Lock, now they finally get some content where they are useful again and everyone who rejected archers all this time now whines for not being the most useful DD class anymore?

Seem to forget that it was all Arc before 1.19 too and the only reason why they didn't work on Ifrit is because of the mistake SE with damage calculation for Arc. I'm not saying Arc should be nerfed into the ground, but it shouldn't be an obvious choice over other classes.

What animations are missing? As far as I can tell Gladiator is only missing Luminous Spire. Lancer isn't missing anything (pro hint: old Doomspike 2 is on one of their miss-reaction abilities). To my knowledge Marauder isn't missing anything and actually gained an animation with Godsbane. So is it Luminous Spire, the Archer backflip one, and Pugilists' earth elemental attack? O nooooo.

Word ^WTH did my unique weaponskill animations go ? Thanks for taking a huge step backwards. Why did u add them then remove them a patch later ? DUH? Again flashy light effects dont make a game good.
Only got a chance to play after they patch was released then i lost my internet for a few days and didnt notice until today that gla/lnc/mrd are missing some of the new animations that where recently added. Not to mention ARC gets buffed thru the roof and lnc/mrd/pug get nerfed BIGTIME. Its not a matter of learning to play a new way and adjust to the combo system. Now where back to Darkhold days where ARC is the bee's knees and everything else is lackluster and unwanted. Do these developers even think about how each class can contribute to aa endgame fight before they make it? THM burns thru its mp so fast its not relevant in a Timed battle. LNC MRD and PUG suffer in mog fight cus chasing down moolges that wont stay the hell still makes it impossible for them to DPS reliably . Solution throw 5 Ifrits bow ARCs at them cus its the easy way out; not like some of us would prefer to actually play a DPS class other than ARC?!
Can you developers please think crap thru before implementing it or get some more level-headed QA people w/ balls that will tell you when u create some bogus content.
QA team is either useless or SE is not listening to them at all.

Well I don't know what to tell you other than it is definitely possible to do very good damage as MRD during the Moogle fight. In fact I'd recommend a MRD for the fight because of how well it takes hits and can off tank, and dish out AOE damage when it is useful to do so.
Whirlwind is an incredibly strong ability capable of putting out well over 750 damage per target. It is likely not because they don't have archer leveled that many endgame shells are using MRD stacking instead of ARC stacking.
LNC and PUG do very comparable damage to ARC. LNC also has a variety of self-heal moves that are useful for the Moogle fight, while Pugilist has Taunt (hopefully you can figure out how that would be useful for the Moogles).
As far as I know, Archer currently puts out the most damage. It and MRD are the only classes I have Ifrit's weapon for (thank you personal loot lists, you (*&^%&* suck,give us a real loot system already SE[SIZE="5"]let us use the working loot system which has been in the game since beta and stop screwing us, please)[/SIZE] so I use those. I would not discourage someone from attempting to excel in their preferred class of choice however.
The actual mechanics of this fight do not exclude any class from contributing to a winning group.
