My main gripe with Aymeric's outfit as-is, once I tried it on with my alt, is that the gloves aren't actually black. They're dark brown, and so instead of being a potentially very useful "utility" piece, they clash with prettymuch everything else I tried on with them..

Well, I don't. Seeing as the non-dyeableness (and thus non-usefulness) of the gloves was the tipping point that made me decide I wasn't spending $10+ just on the hairstyle.

I'm not interested in dressing my character in "Aymeric's costume" so wouldn't use the very distinctive coat, but certainly could have found uses for long black gloves with gold decorations. Brown is a lot less promising, thus I couldn't justify purchasing the set.
