This is why I hardly buy outfits off of the mogstation nowadays. I cannot and will not understand why they do not do this.I believe all glam gear that is bought off the mog station should either:
1. be placeable into the Armoire chest
or
2. unlocked on the Calamity Salvager to rebuy if needed.
These are items that can only be acquired via real money. If you accidentally toss one out you can't simply go kill a dungeon boss to get it ore recraft it.
Before anyone says anything, no I didn't toss any of these items. Just an idea while cleaning storage.
Every owned item placed on the mog station (including items you've earned in seasonal events that were later put on the mog station) should be retrievable on the calamity salvager on every character on that account. (including armor, weapons, mounts, pets, emotes, & furnishing items)I believe all glam gear that is bought off the mog station should either:

or
2. unlocked on the Calamity Salvager to rebuy if needed.

Was expecting a petty thread but actually gets a completely valid request.
I literally support everything you just said.
Yeah, I agree with all of your points. If people are going to throw money at them for these glamours then they should be getting their money's worth.
My main gripe with Aymeric's outfit as-is, once I tried it on with my alt, is that the gloves aren't actually black. They're dark brown, and so instead of being a potentially very useful "utility" piece, they clash with prettymuch everything else I tried on with them.
Also I saw someone point out a while ago, there seems to be a pattern that they'll make costumes from other FF games dyeable, but not for characters from this game. Which is a pity.
Yoshi please allow this, it would help with storage issues. You've shown with the maid, Butler and Sun Wukong outfights that items can be later coded for armoire storage.
Lots of good ideas in the first three posts alone.
Seriously, it's time for changes. They have the power.
Then don't wear them.
Up next... I reckon the Wild Rose attire should be dyeable, similar to the dyeable option provided to Strife's veteran rewards set.
For reference, this is what the wild Rose set looks like:
