..... You do realize this has been a collab that a LOT of players have been asking for for a long time right? And from what I understand the lead dev in the NieR series is quite talented so I'm expecting a really fun raid.

I think a lot of people will make a different between a series of event quests taking place outside of the plot and recognized as not canon...and 3 raid instances recognized as canon.

I saw a LOT of justifications of ffxiii as a event separate from the plot, which is why it was included and totally acceptable and they would never take things so far...and now we have this.

I doubt they're going to step outside of SE, but maybe they could do something with dragon quest, bravely default, octopath traveler, chorono trigger etc...

I get that a lot of folks wanted this colab and the game looks pretty neat as well! But Motobikes, Pimp mobiles and now this it's like Eorzea is becoming the junkyard of worlds with no real identity of it's own. Or am I missing something with this genre of MMO Is it common for all these crossovers?

Kinda seems like just a advert for Nier: Automata. Next we'll see the WoL turn to face the camera during a cut scene holding a strategically placed can of Coke.

Saying that this is exactly the reason I always keep one girl character so I don't miss out on all the cute girl clothes like in Nier :P

Maybe the first impact was the thing that plunged Hydaelyn and Zodiark (Lilith and Adan) from the aethersea into this chaos of reflections.

While I respect people’s opinion that say they don’t like the idea of main content in this game including other games, either because it’s unoriginal or perhaps lazy, to me it reinforces the XIV lore that our world is the source, and there are many shards mirroring our world. So the other games that are included as a part of our world is simply an extension metaphysicaly that there are variations from another shard.
