It's called Divine Veil, it's just unfortunate WAR can pretty much do the exact same effect with Shake It Off except they can actually increase the defence potential of it with CDs unlike PLD.
Sounds like an awful idea, PLD really doesn't need more utility than it has now.
Yeah, I know I basically described a skill that already exists lol, I just meant that I think more skills like that would be good (obviously with a different effect lol)
Also WAR can do their's on their own with a single button press, Paladin relies on either a healer casting a heal spell or the paladin using clemency on herself.
I'd rather they move towards more holy knight abilities.
"I look to the skies and tremble as the brilliance of a thousand bolts-"
You get the idea.

Or how about a skill that acts as a targetted Holmgang? The targeted party member cannot have their health drop below 1, cannot be used on self, and shares a recast timer with Hallowed Ground.
So essentially it's PLD's Cover except the damage and/or effect isn't being redirected. Sounds kinda OP honestly if it has no drawback to it.
I mean, PLD has Clemency, Holy Spirit, and "Divine Magic Mastery." You can have "white" spells without stepping on the healers toes. In 6.0 PLD might even get another "white" spell. I would not complain if PLD got raise though, the more raises available the better!
Also Protect is annoying. I've healed since 2.0 and in 4.0 I took a stand and stopped using it completely, it is useless from a design standpoint. Yoshi needs to remove it entirely not give it to PLD, or at least make it a tasty CD shield.
