Viera Race "Confirmed" for 5.0! Are you gonna change races?

So roughly what I've been saying in that other Viera thread with 200+ pages? Granted, I said they'd just be Hyur with rabbit ears (though female Midlanders are kinda dainty).

Exact reason I don't play midlander. I cannot stand their run animation.

I thought they would be more like elezen and less like miqo'te to be fair as well.

I'm reserving my judgement until we get our hands on the benchmark and the character creation in it.

I will admit that I am glad we're getting them. I would rather get them than not have them at all.

Well, making them like miqo'te just means more people will play them, I guess.. I would have preferrred something more like an elezen as well (minus the tiny head).

They look amazing. You know it's never going to be easy to please everyone. The features, animations and overall look seems very very nice. I was pretty concerned about their animations overall but they've shown a good number in the teaser trailer and they all look awesome. I'm going to have a hard time deciding which of my alts it going Viera. I will probably have two of them fantasia I suspect.
