Viera Race "Confirmed" for 5.0! Are you gonna change races?

"Male hands"? What makes them male? Not having long fingernails? That isn't male, that's sensible for someone who's off on adventures and getting into battles all the time.


(Granted, the rest of Fran's outfit isn't exactly sensible, but that's a different issue....)

Male and female characters share the same 3d model for their hands, feet are different but they literally have the same hands.

What makes them male?

((Yes Please!)) Because we have an abundance of overly tall races. Most of them Eye sores (Looking at you human types), and while I do like the Au Ra, I always end up changing back because I hate being a damn bean pole.

Not at Fran specifically, but if it's all the same model, I'm looking at screenshots of my female Midlander now and she has... hands. Four fingers, one thumb, fingernails on the ends.

And they look prettymuch the same as my own definitely female ones.

So again, what makes them male hands and not generic human ones?

Yoshida announced a new playable race, alluding to his Bugs Bunny shirt. He also said there may or may not be a character coming in 4.5's Ivalice story that has something to do with this new race. This was back in November. It is rather painful on the levels of shit being obvious, so it goes far and beyond speculation, without needing to stretch anything like Spiderman shirt -> Sam Raimi -> Samurai. *cough*
