Ya I thought about answering that, but I'd already argued against that point twice before so didn't bother. I'm not sure why some folks suggest that you need to be bulky in a survival situation. If we're taking this in the logical way, a wiry person, so lean, lighter, but still muscly (just not big) is probably best in that situation or at least more likely to fair better long term.

I also don't understand how people could look at au ra males and think of them as thin. Their shoulders are wide, their arms are big, and their torsos are deep. They're no Roe, but they're not nearly on the same level as Elezen.

Someone big and bulky would probably excel doing something or being somewhere that would require a lot of heavy lifting, menial labor. I think someone big and bulky would be at a disadvantage in a jungle for sure. Fast predators, prey.

Ergo, big and bulky feels more "domestic" while lithe and wiry feels more "wild."

They're an odd shape. Broad upper body, as you said, but then a slender waist and relatively thin legs, emphasised by their "feet together" default stance. Au Ra-specific costumes (custom-designed starter gear and items chosen for NPCs) tend to conceal this with wide-legged pants and heavy skirts, but it can be more noticeable with other tighter-fitting gear.

I'm sure not changing with those ugly ears I saw. Pretty sure they will clipping issues than any of the other races. Just hope they have smaller ear options for them.

Has there been discussion about YoshiP’s shirt past ‘oh look a bunny’? There’s a lot of pages to go through but I can’t see many people mentioning the clear motorbike influence on what could have been a much more abstract Bugs Bunny shirt.
My conspiracy theory is of Bugs being on a Banger (motorcycle type) and what that sounds so similar to.
I’m reminded of a particular 2013(?) April Fools prank where they announced a combination of FemViera and Bangaa
