Do, I have any reason to not start over new on a more active server? I've only got Mrd & Thm left to get to 50 for dow/m. I would like to request SE really consider server mergers or at least transfers for those of us who plan to continue playing.

Always with the doom and gloom.
Have you ever stopped to consider that it's the holiday season and that people may be away on a holiday or visiting relatives? MMO's always lose population over holidays.
Gysahl 407 total right now
that is 00:00 GMT - 1:00 CET
Actually during the holidays for games there are more players on unless that specific day is the holiday. This reason hold's true because finals are over in most of the US for college students, school is out for k-12 students, and as for adult's it's a friday night after 5pm. So, for NA players these are low numbers.

I always knew I was playing an MMO that flopped big time. No surprises here.
Thankfully, the LS that I belong to has a healthy amount of members that log in every day.
I was right! I said they should've just shut down FFXIV after it released. I said they needed to take another 2 years, and redo it, and the have a re-"grand opening release" People thought I was crazy!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT I WAS RIGHT!!! DAMN ALIENS!!!!!
If they had shut it down, they would never have been able to rerelease, at leats not with a fee. An MMO requires a certain level of trust, and at least SE has been shown they will not renege on supporting teh game even when times are tough, basically who would risk buying an mmo game from a company that shut the game down after a few months?
Losing people is honestly expected, in fact they probably expect to lose more up until 2.0. its just the cost of doing business.

Searched all 3 companies and people who aren't in a company on Lindblum and got 584 (I expect this to drop a lot in the next week or so and come Jan 6, who knows)
