Limited job or not, I really can't see BLU being forced to use a lvl 1 weapon once it reaches lvl 50, I would expect to see some kind of AF option as well.

Do you have any quote were he says specifically it will be the only weapon available to begin with? Things often get mistranslated, this is why I would prefer something concrete you know.

Our attack power doesn't come from weapon damage, but the stats from our armor and accessories. They went over that in the live letter. The weapon literally has no purpose aside from the look, so they don't really need to add anything other than the starting cane because all classes must have a main hand.

Its better just to remove blue mage from the game hands down because its really mess up tht this happen {note to self look at fall out 76 now FF14 aiming the same way} F the fans we don't care tht you want blue mage to main we don't want it in this game learning spells outside the combo system lol gth

Overall no new information here - just confirmation of what we already knew. Perhaps the only point of interest is that there does indeed appear to be no plan to get BLU up to level 80 or the level cap in 5.0. It looks like, as I thought, BLU will not be allowed to be on the same level cap as other classes.
