Supposedly only the tenor is professional...sadly I have a lot of trouble hearing him due to the bass and soprano and the little tings of the diamonds I'm hitting (unless it's the fail version, in which case he's quite a hoot) XD And the crit rating is slightly behind the beat...or the soprano is behind the beat...or I'm ahead of the beat...all I know is that if I go based on the song I'm not gonna hit crits unless I wait a nanosecond :X

I wound up doing way better when I just turned the music off. Slow choir music is not exactly the best choice of track for a rhythm game. Thankfully the UI is right on point. If you click when the big diamond reaches the inner diamond, you're always going to get a Critical.

I did wonder about that after saying it's appropriate that the bass is not that skilled... I don't know enough about choir singing to recognise how "good" the singers are, but have they gone to the effort of making it sound like a professional tenor and a few nice-sounding amateurs?

(Then again, the Homunculi seem to run mostly on appealing to their fangirls, and also may be more of a 'pop group' or whatever passes for it in fantasy medieval Europe, so Augustiniel might not have that much of an advantage for singing choral music to begin with...)


And yes, the critical hits definitely seem to be a tiny bit later than I feel like they should be.
