Perhaps you should consider checking your saddlebag. Currently, the Search function doesn't seem to pick up saddlebag and only does Inventory. Though...everything defaults to Inventory Space as soon as it drops.

I don't think this was a bug, considering the state of it. If this was definitely a big bug, they would've squashed it on the spot since Savage is difficult. Since you said you had 10 slots, could you post an image regarding your inventory at the time if you have it?

Unfortunately the issue you are describing is not a technical issue. I will be moving this thread to "General Discussion".

When I do a search it lists the item that's in my Saddlebag as if it's in my inventory which of course it is but it's not differentiating the 2 (saying the item is in my Saddlebag and not my regular inventory).

Stuff like this gives me a better understanding of why bots never get banned. Seems like they'll just brush off anything that they can't find an easy solution to (I know the GMs and STF aren't the same, but I have no reason to believe the latter is doing their job any better then the former).

Nevermind that they should logically have access to records that prove you didn't actually get the datalog despite the chat stating otherwise.

I tested this before I replied: I took 1 of my Alphascape 4.0 Datalogs (I currently have 2) and placed it in my Saddlebag; I left the other in my Inventory. After using iSearch, in the expanded menu for it, it listed 1 of my Datalogs in my Inventory (in Block 3), and 1 in my Saddlebag. Even said that 1 was in my Inventory and 1 in my Saddlebag in the chatbox, so I don’t know what to tell you.

Steps:
1. /isearch datalog
2. Right-click “Alphascape 4.0 Datalog”
3. Click “Search for Item”
4. That’s the result I was given

So they’re differentiating for me, and always have. Don’t know why it won’t for you.

Technical issue implies an issue with software or hardware. This is a bug, due to it not taking the proper format of a bug report (because SE loves their useless jargon of why Spotify is running in the background), it got moved to General Discussion instead.

^ Even so, the GM could have instructed the OP to submit a bug report in the correct format over in that forum, rather than just saying, “this isn’t a technical issue, putting it in General, bye” and leaving the OP confused and thinking the company aren’t willing to do anything about the problem.

That just leaves a bad taste in their mouth and isn’t good handling on the PR side of things. I wonder if they really do throw all their troubles to the wind instead of giving formal answers.
