over all yes at first things are going to heavily change due to all items that are rare getting mixed together because players are going to try to make a profit from it but after it all settles down things will be all good and prices all around will be steady and chances are a bit lower than they have been.

This would be true if not for the fact that the bot farmers have already tanked the prices on most crafted items to unreasonable lows that legit crafters often don't even want to bother with due to how low the time/effort to profit ratio is. Some of the dedicated crafters on my server actually left because of how bad it had gotten in regards to the crafted gear (The 4.2 gear was going for only 150K a piece at one point due a certain player aggressively undercutting everything using a MB bot).

There's also the problem that the owners of said bots who oft possess several billion gil could realistically monopolize their data center's entire stock of certain rarer items for kicks if they wanted to. I've already seen some of them buying out the server's entire stock of certain grade VI materias to artificially manipulate the prices.

i am not getting what you are saying exactly.

as it will go this way. with the new supply and demand, prices are going to be vastly different as say one server has more crafters or as you said a bot who will over supply and people will buy up all the goods and spread them around the servers.

afterwards things will settle down as people get with the flow, no matter what after the mass majority who buy these rare items at their normal high price the prices drop that is just normal. (crafted gear in general more than things like mounts and such)
