Viera Race "Confirmed" for 5.0! Are you gonna change races?

I was never a big fan of tall races I think Elezen are stunning but the run and long neck is very off putting I would have preferred more customisation options or a race like Hilda. I will give it a go I am sure. I hope there is two options to keep most happy ^O^

Anyways, unfortunately I've never actually gotten the chance to complete FFXII so I didn't know that the Viera eventually master the effects of the MIST, but now I'm super excited to find out since I did buy the PS4 version awhile back!

It wouldn't surprise me though if Yoshida allowed us to explore pieces of the alliance countries under Garlean rule/occupation that Othard had contacted! Dalamsca is definitely on my number one list along with any other parts of Ivalice we get to explore!

If we really do go to the Eryut Village to ally ourselves with the Viera there in order to help push back the Garleans in Ivalice (and particularly Dalmasca) I probably gonna die and go to heaven seeing Eryut Village recreated in FFXIV!

I can also see a reasoning for us to go to the Viera's home in 5.0, too since the Garlean Empire still occupies Ivalice they probably would have tried sealing of the Viera's Forest completely from the outside world and make frequent attempts to penetrate it in order to gain whatever secrets lie hidden within it.

The Feol could easily be byproducts of what Viera that were captured/ by making an attempt to leave their forest home at one point or another for whatever reasons they had and cross breeding with the Garleans as a result, producing the diluted clan Feol that the Pure Blood Viera despise so much because of their Garlean heritage! Sorry if all my ramblings and such don't make any sense. It's late here and my brain is trying to fall asleep. XD

by "never had a chance to complete FFXII" do you mean story or complete it like 100% content? Because altough the ending is not your typical cute FF ending, it is still deff worth experience it things get pretty crazy towards the end!

I have to decide which of my alts is going to make the switch. I love all of them and I currently have too many to make another. My alts are fully end game capable and I can't do one more. Can't wait to see what they look like but if they are anything like this I'm sold big time.

Probably not, I did with Au Ra and only regretted it. I've grown to attached to my character design. I'll make an alt one to play around with though.

I will only switch if they also add the small version. I am pretty sure the tall version will be added, but it would be a glorious gift from god if they added the short one as the second clan. I know people will hate them but as of right now we only have lalafell to pick if we want the short race. They would actually add more variety than the tall viera which are most likely going to be altered bunny miqote.

If Viera ladies are like 7' tall(without the ears) and have a muscle slider then maybe.

If they're just another "Normal human with animal parts" like Miqo'te and Au ra, then no.
