This. That data is faulty, try examining the amount of players who have the achievements, Making the most of Anemos, Making the most of Pagos, and Making the most of Pyros along with the relic achievements. That would give you a better number.I'm not challenging your theory or assumptions but I would suggest looking at the column "紅蓮クリア" to the left of P4.1 which is "Crimson clear" or Stormblood cleared. In the footnote, the definition seems to be accounts with a battle class of 70 "維続バトルクラスのー番高いしべルか70". As only players with level 70 can engage in Eureka, you may wish to consider this.
Some people prefer to fix or improve upon failed attempts, so that they can have nicer things, than throw them out the window just because they can't be bothered? No one is forcing you to play it op. and like Valkyrie said the company assets have already been spent so its a moot point. I agree that it was a waste of resources but there's no point in crying over spilled milk. If its really that big of an issue to you that other people are enjoying something you don't like then just unsub and put your money somewhere else.
Feedback, as late as it is when communication is so little and so late, is the only way we have to effect improvement.
If it tires your eyes so, just avoid the forums -- the place meant predominantly for feedback -- and spend your time elsewhere?

Alright. So over a week I was in Pagos (I did Anemos back when it was pretty "new" and everyone wanted to do it, so I was already level 20). I did not play for about 6months, I missed 4.3 and 4.4, hence I have a lot of things on my to do list. Yet I decided to get the relic, just for glamour purpose. So I went ahead into the Eureka adventure.
My first impression of Pagos was awful. Literally hell on earth. You needed a lot of time and patience, and also not to forget when to run, walk and hide from monsters. Basically a really pain in the ***. All the monsters on your way were already above your own level by +5,6,10 even while the FATE's are around your level (great to have monsters higher than you 1 shotting while you wanted to get the FATE you could participate too). To reach them your only chance was to return, be fast, steady, dont die to sleeping dragons, use your class abilities such as bards peloton skill to be faster on foot.
All in all, I made it to 30, after that it felt like a big relief to not miss those FATE's around the aetherytes. After 32, everything started to feel way more comfortable, it began even easier for me to run past mobs, dont be scared about my HP dropping, not dying. And when you die at a spot that is mostly unvisited, than all you can hope for is a kind soul that will take his/her time to raise you.
Especially playing the past week, I noticed how dependant you are on the community, but also how bad the community can be at times. People that want to get done with this icy hell, dont wait for walkers or taxi's, they just simply pull and get back to their Light farmings.
Then again, I understand their view. I wanted to get done with Pagos too as fast as possible.
By the time I hit 35, I had about 450 pagos crystals, 16 frosted ones and 4 louhi's ice. The rest I grinded pretty easily thanks to the light farming groups and fate pops.
But now... I reached Pyrus. And to be honest, I feel really demotivated just going back into another hell and start from 0 again. All the past week I did, was actually just for starting again from 0? Its depressing, even the logos skills wont save my butt cause I still miss the levels, defence, attack, the aetherytes. People dont even focus on poping FATE's anymore, its simply all about go do "bunny" FATE's. So, if you are late, you'll be punished either way.
Right now I am just waiting in the base to hope a FATE will pop near to it so I can level up even slower than Pagos. At times like this Eureka is a big flop. Eureka lacks more variety of sidecontent. We need more things then just go simply chain monsters and biggest problem is you have to kill monsters above your level to get something while they hit 10000 HP per auto attack.
This is the real issue. Eureka is the quintessence of the treadmill design of the whole game. You complete one part, only to find yourself at the starting point once again. Then, you're asked to repeat the exact same process until level cap. And at level cap, you're asked to do what you did during the levelling process once again to keep collecting crystals/light/whatever.
This is f2p-level content.
Even if we disregard the whole number(Which I personally, won't), the data still shows that NA lost 60,000 Lv70 players. Why would 60,000 Lv70s quit?I'm not challenging your theory or assumptions but I would suggest looking at the column "紅蓮クリア" to the left of P4.1 which is "Crimson clear" or Stormblood cleared. In the footnote, the definition seems to be accounts with a battle class of 70 "維続バトルクラスのー番高いしべルか70". As only players with level 70 can engage in Eureka, you may wish to consider this.
Achievement data can be hidden on the lodestone so you would probably get a less accurate number that way.
Funny that you're targeting me with that bolded sentence when it could very well apply to you. Think about that.Or, possibly, most people are happy with Eureka, and don't feel any need to come to the forums to say so? Because they're in the game, playing it.
Most of the threads on the forum are complaints about this, that, or the other. Most people who have a problem, come here to complain about it. So of course you're going to see mostly complaints about Eureka, or glamours, or whatever. It's a huge mistake to think that you're in some majority, like a goldfish who thinks his bowl is the ocean.

Oh Eureka.
Anemos was fun. Not a ton of fun, this game wasn't designed to have a near constant flood of mobs to kill in order to chain well, but you could follow a train around and kill stuff and socialize and play casual and get some okay glam stuff they promised us would continue through the other 3 zones.
Then Pagos roadblocked everything with far higher level mobs than you were expected to be in areas, aetherytes locked behind too high levels, nm's that regularly went full instance lockouts without spawning despite people killing their triggers nonstop, a relic step that stayed irrelevant, sloooooow exp, and a light farm model that was at times utterly absurd. Not to mention plenty of things locked to the worst mechanics in the zone, bunnies and rng mutations. Woo?
Now pyros. It's pagos with better exp. And more things hidden in rng chests. Lots of grinding the worst mechanics in the game for a chance to get rng boxes for a chance to get the right logos actions for a chance to have enough to unlock your weapon And armor
And the anemos armor is irrelevant because you don't upgrade it (what?). At least it's on par with something that's been out for 2 months? Not really. Guess it's cool glam for tanks at least. Finally getting more armor that actually looks like heavy tankish armor.
And the final step of the weapon isn't even at non-upgraded tomestone levels unless you're maybe a bard. Oh, it needs light for substats too. For random substats. Not like, put your substats where you want to.
Don't forget all the glam/housing stuff hidden in rng chests instead of being crafter made.
Anemos is probably the best model of the three, and it was pretty flawed. This content is never going to be touched in 5.0, and it's a shame, because some of the stuff actually looks good. But nobody in their right mind will ever put in this time investment. We just got nothing else except pyros this patch, so might as well rush through it in a week and tell it to piss off.
This. It's a bit painful to note that our complaints seem merely to have informed the design path of later content... directly, rather than as a non-example.Anemos is probably the best model of the three, and it was pretty flawed. I actually don't want them to stop if its anything like pyros.
I'm actually really enjoying pyros and the logos system, if it can be expended on it'll be great.
Pyros leveling isn't crazy low like pagos :x the worst of the 3.
The rewards in pyros are actually pretty decent as well, the grind isn't too bad.
If they can expended on pyros, keeping the leveling the same, good rewards, and no MASSIVE grind like pagos, can see the next one being hopefully good for the people not sold on eureka yet.
