Eureka Weapons Will Be The Undisputed Strongest Weapons of All Time

I just caught wind of how the stats in the i385 weapons work. Apparently, Eureka weapons have a substat limit of 1,000. It can be shared through many stats or lumped all into one stat. You can theoretically have a BRD bow with 500 Crit and 500 Direct Hit. Or a BLM weapon with 200 Critical Hit and 800 Spell Speed.

Unless they make 1,000 the limit and it won't increase after more upgrades, they will easily surpass raid weapons by next upgrade. I hear some already surpass them for some jobs!

Sure, for the 2 months since its release until 5.0.

Anyway, they're really going too far with rng. Just a few more pyros crystals until my weapon, but I'll only use it for glamour. No way I'm farming for lights for a chance to have a good roll.

Wasn't there something along the lines of "these weapons will only be this powerful in eureka"? Because 700+ statpoints into one substat seems too ridiculous to be a real thing and entirely craps on the stat optimization of theorycrafters.

There got to be a plausible limit.

This is really not a big deal until these weapons get upgraded to ilvl 400. Right now omega weapons are still better because of the WD advantage. When the relic will actually become more powerful than the omega weapon, speedrunners will be already done with fflogs and Kihra will probably just divide the rankings between before and after op relic weapon. Relic will be, just like before, a nice and shiny stick.

Maybe speedkills.

But there will be no new raid tier or ultimate this xpac.

And after this you will exchange it before hitting lvl 80.

The only job that would prefer this weapon over the Omega weapon would be BRD - and you'd have to have as much critical hit as possible on it. But they would be the only job, and the amount of rerolling to get a super high Crit bow wouldn't be worth it unless you had amazing amounts of luck, in my opinion.

Considering I'm almost full BiS save for an earring, my weapon, and my body piece, it wouldn't be worth it to me to slog through Pagos, slog through Pyros, and then constantly reroll for a decent bow. I'll have my BiS and my pretty logs far sooner.
