The Sharlayans are smart people, okay? They know the best method for doing this sort of thing.

Also I'd like to think we need to provide a hairstyle blueprint to ensure we actually get what we want rather than leaving him to get "creative"...

Exactly my point! Would you trust him to not get "inspired" if you don't show him a picture of exactly what you want?

(Mind you, I'm not sure I trust him regardless. We're lucky it isn't an exercise in RNG to get the hairstyle you're actually after.)

How fun would it be if the first haircut you make him do when you use his service was actualy totaly random even in the coloring. And if we just don't like it we could choose by ourself in the character menu.

I can totaly imagine myself in a FFXIV were we just have all the haircut available just "Hey I'll change my hair, roll the dice and go with whatever I get" and just be happy with it for the day. It cost almost nothing anyway...

Plus, just the scenery of me looking at Jandelaine like "WTF dude are you drunk ?" when we refuse the first haircut would be quite fun the first time and then I'll pass it like everyone but... Its fun or I'm the only one who love to be mean to NPC ?

There certainly needs to be a randomised option there! Would absolutely fit with his character - especially the few times he's in a story as an actual character and not just a game function. He doesn't seem all that concerned about checking his vict-- er, customers are actually okay with whatever he's planning. (Although they seem to always be pleased with it.)

Maybe it's free but you're not allowed to change it for a week. Certainly for at least a day.
