If everyone just let the tanks kill squishy ARR S ranks, there probably wouldn't be any complaints ever, and they'd still die in good time.

There's a new trend that I approve of where people will tag the s rank and then either auto-attack or do nothing. If you're in a party, that's often all it takes to get full credit. This applies mostly to ARR hunts but it's been effective so far. A couple of GCD withheld across a dozen or so high-geared hunters means about as many people more managed to get there and at least tag it. At the very least it's a tick on the achievement, and if they were in a party, it's seals and tomes, too.
