From the begining of 2.0 fishing was designed NOT to be a moneymaker like it was in FFXI.Reading Ramrodicus post got me thinking, it could be a nice idea to have CUL crafts using very rare fishes that would permanently boost your attributes within a certain threshold of course.
Something like +10 to all attributes max, +1 per CUL craft. That means one would need a copious amount of rare fishes (and a high level CUL) to max all stats (16 stats including crafting and gathering ones if I count correctly).
