Personally, I would prefer to get a pop up window after logging in telling me if I have any active demolition timer, than all the spam about achievements and other crap that we get. It's astonishing that the only thing that you can permanently lose gets a way lower priority on that and is almost hidden, while stuff that you can check with literally two clicks seems to deserve getting put there even after just changing zones (by default settings, mind you). Especially when it's well known that the e-mails *can* fail to be delivered on time, or at all.

I think that if someone is *paying* the sub and playing, at least they deserve to get an in-game notification if -for whatever reason that is not ours to judge- they get their demolition timer running. If customers can't keep their plots while they're still actively supporting the game with their good money (and let's not forget that that's because of a terrible design decision that's only SE's fault, and that the other big MMOs don't have this issue... even when you don't keep paying), the least that they deserve is that the game does its best to keep them informed about something as important as this. As a customer it's almost insulting that, as I said, other less important features get that treatment while this one doesn't. It makes one think that there's either a hidden agenda behind that decision, or that this is just plain incompetence. I'm aware that it sounds harsh, and I'm not saying it as trying to insult anyone, but I don't know what else one can think to excuse this oversight.
